I have a mom in need of assistance with her electric bill. She has supervised visits with her children in her home and is about to lose electricity. We would like to continue having the visits in her home where the children are comfortable. In order for this to continue, she needs some assistance. The mom is unemployed at this time due to health concerns and no transportation. Any help is appreciated.

This family is looking for help to assist in covering legal fees to help waive previous warrants to ensure they are able to apply for low-income housing. The family is currently living doubled up with another family and are seeking urgent assistance in helping come up with $1,000 to try and cover their legal fees. This would help the mother, clear her past warrants, which would help her ensure she can apply for housing and not have anything preventing her from getting on the list. This family has worked very hard at doing all the tasks necessary to ensure they can reunify. The family is on steady progress to have overnight visitation, if they can obtain housing that is safe and appropriate for the baby. Therefore, the couple is urgently needing help in supplying $1,000 for their legal fees to be able to dissolve all warrants attached to their names, allowing them to apply for housing. Family is currently struggling with making rent as mom has lost work hours. Mom works with a company and goes into client's home to help them with day to day living tasks. Due to the increased need for her to be out of work for her children's doctors' appointments as well as making sure her mental health is addressed, her client has fired her, and she is not working any hours at this time. The family does not have a strong support system and does need resource help. Mom and kids have healthy relationships with each other, currently the father is not in the home due to allegations of abuse. Mom is struggling as dad does not offer additional support with the children financially. She has requested help to get her through, and she will be able to pay months coming up.

I am a social worker, working with a family that is need of a highchair. They were recently evicted and have moved into a new apartment, but lost their possessions in the process.

Currently, Mom is trying to introduce solid foods to her infant child, but patient is mobile and Mom is having trouble getting her child to sit for a meal. A highchair would help Mom focus on meal times with her child and promote healthy relationship with food and appropriate acknowledgement of hunger cues.

Mom identified that a highchair that can also serve as a toddler table would be best that way she can utilize the highchair past infancy. I have included a link to an example of a highchair that is also a toddler table.

I have a parent who has just been hired on as a security officer in the area and is really needing help with transportation. He is able to get home from work but since he works the overnight shift, he has to Uber which is costing him a time of money. It is so important that he be able to keep this job so that he can reunify back with his children and the children’s mother.

A mother has been living in her car since her child came into care. She is no longer able to live in her home due to some legal reasons. Mom is trying to secure a job and stabilize her life so that her daughter can be a part of it again. She needs a hotel room for a few days to get things in order. Thank you!

A pregnant mom of three was put on bedrest due to bleeding and is therefore unable to keep working. She has fallen behind on bills. She left an abusive relationship and doesn't have support. Help paying her car payment would allow her to keep her car so she can attend OB appointments.

Help assist a 17-year-old girl in foster care with getting her hair braided. This youth would like assistance getting her hair done so that she can look presentable as she attends job interviews. This youth has someone able to braid her hair and needs assistance getting the needed materials:

A mother and her child, who have recently triumphed over significant domestic violence challenges, are seeking assistance with transportation to attend medical appointments and access domestic violence services. With a limited income, especially after losing a primary source of support from her ex-boyfriend who is no longer permitted to contact the family due to safety concerns this mother is in a difficult situation. We are hopeful to secure a Quick Trip gas card by tomorrow morning during the TDM, which would greatly alleviate their transportation expenses and support their journey toward healing and stability.

The father of a family of five suddenly passed away without any life insurance. The family is not only mourning this profound loss but also finds itself in a financial crisis. In addition to funeral expenses, their one working vehicle is experiencing electrical issues and cannot be used until it is repaired. They also need to replace their oven.

Family ( mother, father, and their year old child), need assistance paying for their hotel where they have been staying at since becoming homeless. Parents do work (mom works at Mcdonalds and Dad does contract work), but the cost of hotels have burned through their savings (they have tried calling shelters but have found no place with any openings and they do not have a vehicle to try and go to a long stay hotel while they try to improve their credit. Father should receive a paycheck next week and the family should be able to cover their expenses going forward. The amount asked for will cover a 3 day stay Hotel is the Super 8 by Wyndham. This family is currently fighting to stay together. Mom is working hard trying to maintain the home and is working on herself to become the best mom she can be. Mom was fighting an infestation in the home and was forced to throw away furniture. They are in need of a couch for the living room and a dresser for the child. So he can have somewhere to store his clothing and make his room feel a little more comfortable.
