We are requesting support for three siblings: 11 (M) 9 (M) 7 (M), who are currently experiencing their first summer in care. We would like to provide them with a meaningful and enriching summer experience through participation in a week-long local church camp (Lithia, FL), martial arts classes and Bible Study.

This opportunity would give the children a safe and nurturing environment to build friendships, develop new skills, grow spiritually and have fun during the summer months.

Breakdown: Church Camp (a week)

Martial Arts Program:

• Monthly cost of $30.00 per child

Bible Study Yearly Membership:

• Annual fee of $30.00 per child

Dear community, we are reaching out to support a hardworking single mother of four who has recently lost her full-time job cleaning hotel rooms due to a drop in bookings. She is now only working two days a week and actively looking for more work. Her job search has been especially difficult due to her legal status in this country, but despite the challenges, she remains hopeful. She is not currently receiving food stamps or child support, which has made it even harder to stay afloat.

She is now short on rent for July 1st, especially after falling behind on her electricity bill. Our organization is stepping in to help with groceries, and basic needs — and we are also working to help her find additional resources. We are doing everything we can to help her and her children stay in their apartment and avoid eviction.

If you’re able to support with some of the rent, no matter how small, it would make a real difference for this family during this difficult time. Thank you for your compassion and solidarity.

The youth is placed with her older sister so the youth may be in a family placement outside of foster care. The family just moved into a home of their own, and the youth has her own bedroom. The caregiver needs assistance with paying her rent this month due to unexpected circumstances that caused her to miss days of work. If the caregiver receives assistance, she will not be behind on her rent and face additional late fees.

Youth joined a small group through the youth program at the church and they communicate via phone. So at this time, he isn't able to fully participate in the church support group.

The caregiver is a father to three young children. He is a non-offending father who has taken his children full time after they were removed from their mother. This father has shown a deep commitment to making his children feel safe and comfortable in his home. He is doing everything he can to make ends meet and provide a loving environment for his family. To create an environment where the children feel settled and comfortable, they will need Trundle Bunk Bed, 3 twin mattresses, 3 sheet sets, 3 comforters, 3 pillows. Bed rail. Now, they have another sleeping arraignment that is not adequate for long term use. This may seem like a small request, but for this family, it represents stability, structure, and safety. It would give the children a sense of security and support for the father who is doing everything to be a supportive caregiver.

Single mom is 3(three) is requesting help with paying her FPL bill. Mom was recently lost her job and has been unable to pay her bills, as she us waiting for her unemployment check.

Mom is actively looking for another job and needs help with food as well, as she has the children at home for the summer.

A devoted aunt has stepped in to provide full-time care for her three young relatives: a 9-month-old nephew and two nieces, ages 12 and 13. Their mother is currently incarcerated and awaiting sentencing.

As she adjusts to this new responsibility, the aunt is in need of a walker and a high chair for the infant to help provide a safe and nurturing environment. Any support during this time would be a great help to the family as they navigate this challenging transition.

Dedicated single father doing everything he can to care for his four children - two boys and two girls, ages 6-14. This loving father is facing a serious challenge: his washing machine is barely operable and with four growing children, the laundry never stops. He is in desperate need of a working washing machine to keep up with his family's basic needs. Clean clothes are essential for school, health, and dignity, and this father is trying hard to provide all on his own.

The child resides with a foster parent who cannot afford to purchase a triple stroller because of how expensive they are. The foster has three small children in her care and is in need of a triple stroller. This stroller will help the family immensely.

We are requesting help for a mother and her two children (ages 7 & 9). The mom is leaving a home where domestic violence is heavily present. She and the children will be moving to Jacksonville to live with her sister so that she and the children will be safe and amongst family. Mom's drivers license has been suspended due to not being able to afford insurance. We (Safe Families for Children, NE FL) has come alongside this sweet mother and helped her find car insurance she can afford, however, she still has fees to pay to get her license reinstated. Mom works and is trying to save up money to get her license back soon but in the meantime, she needs to get her car to her sister's home in Jacksonville and can't drive until she has her license reinstated. We are asking if anyone would be willing to pay for the car to be towed from Palatka to Jacksonville. The estimate for this (according to a local tow company in Palatka) would be $260.00. However, if anyone has the ability to tow the vehicle on their own, that could be an option too. Helping this mom get her car to her sister's house would help she and her children move to a safe place that has more support as fast as possible.

I am reaching out on behalf of a young father who is currently the full-time caregiver for his 1-month-old son. As a senior in high school, he has taken on this responsibility alone after the child’s biological mother chose to step back from her parental role. He resides with his mother and siblings, who offer some support, but he remains the primary caregiver and is fully committed to being actively involved in every aspect of his son’s care. Balancing the demands of school and parenthood, he is in need of essential baby items to help ensure his son’s comfort and well-being. We are kindly requesting assistance or donations of baby clothes (size 0–3 months, including booties or socks), diapers and wipes, a stroller, a baby bathtub, bottles, baby toiletries, and burping cloths. Any support provided would make a meaningful difference as this young father navigates this new chapter. We sincerely appreciate your time, consideration, and generosity.

The family is in need of grocery assistance. The sister whom is caring for her younger sister (16) and her own two kids ( 2, 5) is requesting assistance purchasing groceries for the week. The sister is currently unemployed and advises she does not have the funds to purchase groceries this week.
