A sibling set of 11, 13, and 15-years-old have recently come into care and are in need of beds!

The 13 and 15-year-old boys will be sharing a room and are looking for two twin size beds and mattresses. The 11-year-old girl has a room of her own and is looking for a twin- or full-size bed and mattress. As of right now the children are sleeping on inflatable mattresses.

We are looking for:

• 2 twin sized beds and mattresses
• 1 full sized bed and mattress

We have a mom of four kiddos in need of any assistance available. She was in a hit and run accident in April where her car was totaled. She has applied to multiple loans and she continues to be denied. She would need a vehicle with third row seating to fit the family with car seats, etc. Anything available to help donate to a down payment for a vehicle, or if you know of someone willing to part with a vehicle for an affordable price would be greatly appreciated. The amount input in the request is for a down payment for a vehicle she has found locally to where she can make the monthly car payments. Thank you for any and all help! It is greatly appreciated.

This mom is trying to get set up with WIC, but she has not been able to get transportation for the appointments. She has been coming to us for help with diapers and formula, but she is needing a bit more to help her get through the month. WIC would be a great resource for her family to help with the cost of groceries and formula. The transportation would be for herself and her 10-month-old son. She has a car seat for him.

Over the past few months, we’ve had the privilege of walking alongside a dedicated mom of a young child. She is truly remarkable, working hard every day to support her household and keep her family together.

In fact, she didn’t come to us with a request. It was through the relationship with one of our volunteers that we learned her apartment has no air conditioning. With the extreme heat we’ve already seen and more expected this summer, she’s doing everything she can to keep her home safe and cool. She’s currently on a waitlist for an AC unit, but there’s no guarantee one will be available in time.

Would you join us in showing this mom that she’s not alone and that her quiet strength is seen and supported? Let’s help keep her and her child safe and comfortable through the Ohio heat this summer!

Dear community, we are reaching out to support a hardworking single mother of four who has recently lost her full-time job cleaning hotel rooms due to a drop in bookings. She is now only working two days a week and actively looking for more work. Her job search has been especially difficult due to her legal status in this country, but despite the challenges, she remains hopeful. She is not currently receiving food stamps or child support, which has made it even harder to stay afloat.

She is now short on rent for July 1st, especially after falling behind on her electricity bill. Our organization is stepping in to help with groceries, and basic needs — and we are also working to help her find additional resources. We are doing everything we can to help her and her children stay in their apartment and avoid eviction.

If you’re able to support with some of the rent, no matter how small, it would make a real difference for this family during this difficult time. Thank you for your compassion and solidarity.

V is a mom and grandma working hard to care for her two children and one grandson. She fell behind on her electric bill due to an illness and missing work and now it's shut off. They were able to stay last night at a friend's house but that's not feasible to do again. Any amount helps to stabilize this family and help prevent the need for foster care!

one of our church members car was repossessed this weekend after already having been charged off months ago. they are requesting help with the amount of $5,000. This is the amount we were behind in payments, plus the fees to get it out of the impound lot.

A single mom is working hard to make ends meet and just recently got a job. She is trying to provide the best she can for her kids. Since not having steady income she has fallen short on getting things that are needed. She could use some help with diapers for one of the kids. If you are able to help please let me know.

There is a 30-ish year-old young man living at apartments in Castle Rock. He is paralyzed from the chest down and in a wheelchair. He was granted special permission to be at these apartments even though he doesn't qualify due to his age. He receives food from Help & Hope on a monthly basis when they visit him. His family lives in Elizabeth and has even less money than this young man. It is noted that sometimes he will give his money to his mom/dad so they can eat.

Help & Hope has been going to this gentleman's apartment on Wednesdays when they deliver food to him, and have been making his bed and doing light chores for him.

Looking for a weekly/monthly volunteer(s) who would like to visit this young man and assist with light chores?

We have a single mom with her two children and their pet that we just moved into an apartment, but the landlord wants a pet deposit and will not waive it although he did discount it. Any small donations will be greatly appreciated
