A single mom with a 2-month-old urgently needs dental care. She’s currently experiencing severe pain and requires immediate treatment, including an exam, X-rays, and two tooth extractions. Unfortunately, she cannot afford these essential procedures at this time, and without immediate care, her condition could worsen and lead to further complications. Grandmother is caring for child as mother is in and out of the home. Mother is sole provider for the home and grandchild. Child is currently sleeping with grandmother who is in need of a toddler bed.

This family is a single mother with 3 children. 13 yr old has Type 1 diabetes. The youngest just turned 1 yrs old. Mother has financial issues and sometimes cannot afford medical supplies that Medicaid does not cover. Like testing strips. Mother just returned to work from non-paid maternity leave and had some medical issues of her own. Food stamps does not cover food through the whole month. 13 yr old female needs med size underwear, size 8 shoes, size 2 pants (teen) med and med shirts. 9 yr old male needs, size med 9-10 pants and shirts, underwear and size 5 boy's shoes. Baby boy wears 18 months clothing and size 3 infant shoes. Size 4-5 diapers. Enfamil Gentlease in purple can.

Requesting assistance for a 13 year old child that was able to returned home to her mother after being in foster care for 4 years. The 13 year old child is needing a bed to sleep in comfortably. Thank you very much

Mother contacted the Social Work Hub right before Xmas asking for bunk beds for her children, the one they had picked up from the trash was infested with bugs. She then called back and said she was able to find some mattresses from a friend, she contacted me today to say they were also infected. She send me pictures of the bugs and she was not able to send the kids to school yesterday and today because they have bug bites all over their bodies.

This request is for a child that resides with his mother who had been homeless. I became aware of this child’s need when he asked if we could help him with $200 for a holding fee since they had been accepted for housing and was granted a prorated rent of $133.I have connected with the family and have helped to identify that this family is in need of and can benefit from the following priority items: *$200 holding fee I am aware that this family has faced many adversities and challenges upon moving here to Texas after living with grandmother in Louisiana. The mother of this child was very young when having him and are now at a point in their lives where they are getting on their feet.

A single mother is struggling, recently loss job and unable to pay for utility bills which currently owed $256. Light has been shut off which led the child unable to attend school today. In need of assistance to get the light to turn back up.

The family in need is a family of 4, consisting of a stay-at-home mom, 2 children, and a working dad. The children’s ages are 8 and 12. Currently they are struggling financially due to them moving from out of state a couple of months ago. The family resides in a one-bedroom apartment, and they are in need of furniture. They would benefit from a sofa bed or an L-shaped couch since the oldest sleeps on a small couch in the living room. They are also in need of a dining table since they don’t have one, and are using a ping pong table at the moment. Due to the dad being the only provider, the family hasn’t been able to get these items. The family would really appreciate it if they could receive the following items: -Sofa bed or L-Shaped couch -Dining table and chairs

Single mom who is working tirelessly to build a better future for her family is currently working towards earning her GED, which will open doors to better job opportunities and financial independence for her and her baby. The cost of prep classes and testing fees are proving to be a challenge. She’s committed to this journey, but she needs a little help to make it happen. We are looking for support to cover the expenses for GED preparation and testing fees. The family is in need is a family of five, consisting of a mother, father, and 3 children: an 8-year-old, 3-year-old, and an 8-month-old. At this time the family is having a hard time providing for the basic needs of their children and providing basics for their home due to financial barriers. The family would benefit from a twin sized bed frame and mattress so the 8-year-old can have a bed of their own. The family is also in need of a clothing rack to dry clothing, a vacuum cleaner and a rug. Due to financial barriers the family is unable to purchase these items.
