This request is for a single mother that is disabled and has needs for her newborn baby girl. She is needing sleep sacks for safe sleep sizes 0-6 months, diapers size 1, and Dr. Brown pacifiers that are available at Target or Dollar General. Thank you for any consideration or assistance.

This request is for a 14 year old girl who was recently placed in foster care. The child has very limited clothing and shoes, and is in need of clothing. The child's clothing sizes are: Pants: Medium, Shirts: Medium, Underwear: 14/16 in Kids, Bra: 34C, Socks: 7/8, Shoes: 8, Swimwear: Medium. The child is hopeful to receive a swimsuit and summer clothes.

NM moved into a 12 month sober living facility on April 1, 2025 and pays $600 a month for rent. That amount is charged the day you move in even though you are not employed. NM is employed and makes enough money to cover expenses, but has only been able to cover a small portion of the the initial charge. NM obtained employment within a week of moving in and is working hard to do everything necessary to reunify with her children. NM is attending all her medical appointments and taking prescriptions as prescribed, engaged in weekly counseling services, passing all drug tests and most importantly building a new relationship with her children by doing daily phone calls and supervised weekly visits. Any assistance with this initial charge would be appreciated.

A single mother of 2 children who has recently overcome adversity, including homelessness, is in need of help paying her electric bill. The electricity was recently disconnected. To avoid her small child and teen living in unhealthy living conditions with the upcoming heat of summer (no way to cool the home), she will need assistance to get the electricity turned back on. In July, she will be able to receive additional help from LIHEAP to maintain the bill throughout summer. The electricity must be on before LIHEAP can make payment. Per her lease agreement, she must maintain the electricity, or she can face eviction, causing her and her children to face homelessness again.

A mom recently had her young children removed from her home and placed within foster care. Since the removal of her children, she has lost her job and her housing. Without a job she has been unable to pay for her phone service and her phone is now off. This has made it very difficult to schedule appointments for her recommended services, apply for jobs online, and be able to have phone calls with her children. To be able to have her phone service restored she needs to pay seventy dollars. Payment(s) can be made directly to Boost the service provider. Helping this mom will assist her to continue to work towards her goal of finding a new job, scheduling her appointments, finding a new safe home and help her reach her goal of reunifying with her children as soon as possible. In order to place a foster child in a kinship home they would need assistance with food. The kinship home has been living alone and on a fixed income they are able and willing to take placement but due to financial circumstances would need assistance with food and snacks. We would be so greatful to have support in making this kinship placement happen. Thank you for any help available!

I am requesting financial assistance for a mother who is currently at a treatment home where she is receiving services that are required for her to get her parental rights reinstated. She has been reunitied with her 2 children and is doing EXCELLENT! She is scheduled to graduate from the program the first part of July. She has an apartment lined up for her family and has done everything she could to help herself and her family prepare for the future. However, due to complications in her high risk pregnancy, she hasn't been able to work for the last couple of months. The program that she is in has fees that they are required to pay as part of their treatment but because she hasn't been able to work, she has gotten way behind on the fees. She currently owes about $750. The treatment center has allowed the family to stay due to their circumstances but she can not graduate the program without paying what is owed. This mother has worked so hard to get to where she is now and the stress of this bill hanging over her head is not helping matters. The children are thriving with their mother and the youngest is very attached to her. We are asking for any help you can give to get this family started on a clean slate to their new life. We will take any donations toward these fees no matter how small. Please help me give this family a fresh start to their new life.

Foster family is in need of assistance with their gas bill. The foster family is not yet receiving their monthly assistance and they went from a household of 2 to 5 with 1 income at this time. The family needs 200 dollars to help offset some bills for the month such as the gas bill.

Mother and dad of newborn have been living in their car for 14 months. Baby is now 2 months old. They both work and pay car payments but cannot afford to get established in an apartment or home. Baby is growing and they are in desperate need to have a different living situation for their family. They have been sleeping in a classroom on the floor of our church 3 nights a week, for this past month and the church cannot sustain this arrangement indefinitely. They are very polite, hardworking, clean and cooperative. We have prayed about this and believe a camper would be the best goal for them at this time. They can afford an RV park with utilities and start to get a lead on a permanent residence.

I am working a prevention case to prevent removal of 4 children from a single mother who lives with maternal grandmother and grandfather. Their electric is a prepaid account and is in danger of being shut off due to depleted funds. We are in need of funds to replenish their account. The family just bought food with their food stamps and is in jeopardy of the food ruining if the electric is shut off.
