A mom recently had her young children removed from her home and placed within foster care. Since the removal of her children, she has lost her job and her housing. Without a job she has been unable to pay for her phone service and her phone is now off. This has made it very difficult to schedule appointments for her recommended services, apply for jobs online, and be able to have phone calls with her children. To be able to have her phone service restored she needs to pay seventy dollars. Payment(s) can be made directly to Boost the service provider. Helping this mom will assist her to continue to work towards her goal of finding a new job, scheduling her appointments, finding a new safe home and help her reach her goal of reunifying with her children as soon as possible. Dear community, we are reaching out to support a hardworking single mother of four who has recently lost her full-time job cleaning hotel rooms due to a drop in bookings. She is now only working two days a week and actively looking for more work. Her job search has been especially difficult due to her legal status in this country, but despite the challenges, she remains hopeful. She is not currently receiving food stamps or child support, which has made it even harder to stay afloat.

She is now short on rent for July 1st, especially after falling behind on her electricity bill. Our organization is stepping in to help with groceries, and basic needs — and we are also working to help her find additional resources. We are doing everything we can to help her and her children stay in their apartment and avoid eviction.

If you’re able to support with some of the rent, no matter how small, it would make a real difference for this family during this difficult time. Thank you for your compassion and solidarity.
