Hello. I am working with a family with 6 children. Mom has been enduring emotional abuse from Dad and is ready to leave him in the hopes that she can put her life together and get her children back. She has a job but her husband has stolen her money. She needs help paying for a hotel until she gets paid in a week and a half. This is a huge step for her and may be her only chance at getting her children back. This has been an ongoing conversation with her and she is finally ready to do it. Visa cards or even paying for a night or two at the hotel from a handful of people can help us ensure that she can be safe!

A dedicated single mother of two adopted children is doing her best to balance work, her own health, and a courageous battle with cancer. Any assistance with groceries would be incredibly helpful, as it would ease her daily burden and allow her to focus on her well-being and her children.

Her children enjoy cooking but can be particular about meals prepared by others. Providing fresh ingredients would be especially beneficial. Items such as vegetables, fruits, eggs, bread, rice, snacks, and drinks would greatly support their household. If specific grocery donations aren’t feasible, a gift card to Target, Hy-Vee, or Aldi—her closest grocery stores—would be deeply appreciated. CASA is requesting rental assistance for our CASA teen who is placed with his older brother. The brother is not in care. This CASA teen has bounced around to over 7 different foster homes while waiting for his older brother to obtain housing. The brother was experiencing homelessness throughout the time this CASA teen was in care. The brother recently obtained an apartment and took placement of his younger brother to relieve him of being in a foster home. The brothers are thrilled to finally be reunited, however, they are experiencing financial hardships and struggling to pay this months rent. CASA is requesting rental assistance of $1300 (any contributions would assist this family). It is CASA's hope that the brother can demonstrate stability so he can obtain guardianship of our CASA teen. Thank you for considering!

A single adoptive mother of 5 siblings is experiencing a main line back up at their residence. This is causing their basement to flood. This is where 4 of the children have bedrooms. The back up is causing an unhealthy odor and could cause mold.

Hello. I have a family that is currently struggling with transportation to be able to attend medical appointments and training to be able to learn how to care for the medical needs of their twins that are in care. When the twins are reunified with their parents, the parents will have access to transportation via the twins' insurance so transportation will not be a factor in care for the twins. We are asking for an uber card so that parents can have access to participate in the twins' care so that reunification can happen. Transportation, as long as parents attend appointments and trainings, should only be a concern for a couple months and then insurance provided transportation should be an option for them. This is the biggest obstacle for reunification for this family.

Youth is in need of funding/resources for a Quinceanera. This youth's birthday is in April. This youth has mentioned that she would like a dress, a venue, a photographer, food. The estimated value is a very rough estimate. I am unaware how much this would cost in total.

I am foster care case manager and am looking for a dresser for a 14 yr old girl. She needs dresser to help keep room clean at adoptive parents home. If anyone could please provide one we would be greatly appreciative. As her room is covered in clothes and we are trying to get it cleaned up so she can get her new bed in there.
