Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing
A Mom and her three children have just moved into their new home after several months of homelessness. They are currently sleeping on air mattresses until they are able to obtain beds. The family is in the process of receiving a set of bunk beds for two of the children but they are still in need of two more beds for Mom and one of the children. Mom could use twin, full, or queen. This will help the family with stability and comfortable/ quality sleep as they settle into their new home.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
My client is eagerly preparing to bring her baby home from the NICU where she has been since she was born 2 weeks ago, in the next couple of weeks. However, she is facing the challenge of not having an infant car seat, which is required by the hospital before they can release her baby. In addition to the car seat, she is also looking for a stroller, ensuring that she has everything needed for her baby's safe and comfortable transport once they're discharged. This mother of 3 does not have family support and she has been unemployed for about three months because of her pregnancy. The money she had been able to save, is going straight to rent and utilities. With the clock ticking, she is eager to secure these essential items. Whether they are new or gently used, combo or not, a carseat and a stroller will be greatly appreciated by this young mother. Thank you.

Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing
This mother is doing her best to care for her four young children, including her almost 1-year-old who has been hospitalized multiple times due to breathing issues when he gets sick. Despite her pediatrician’s recommendation for a humidifier to help her little one, she recently learned that she cannot receive one through her insurance, and she’ll need to pay out of pocket to purchase one. As a hardworking mom who often takes extra shifts to make ends meet, her budget is already stretched thin, making it difficult to afford the humidifier. Additionally, she is in need of a highchair for her son to make mealtime more manageable. Any help providing these items would be a tremendous blessing to her family, and she is open to the high chair being gently used. It would ease some of her worries and make caring for her children a little bit easier. Thank you for considering supporting this loving mom and her family during a challenging time.

After quite a long wait, and through many challenges, this single Mom of three finally has housing! Safe Families has been involved with this family for 6+ months and we are so excited that they have housing and a fresh start!
Mom and her kids are newly moved into their house and they are gathering the things they need to make it feel like a home. They do not have any living room furniture and we are seeking donated couches / a living room set. Items could be used and in good condition / purchased from a thrift store. Mom is looking forward to creating new memories in this loving home, and would be so appreciative of any couches/ comfy chairs / living room table, that could be provided.
