We are requesting support for three siblings: 11 (M) 9 (M) 7 (M), who are currently experiencing their first summer in care. We would like to provide them with a meaningful and enriching summer experience through participation in a week-long local church camp (Lithia, FL), martial arts classes and Bible Study.

This opportunity would give the children a safe and nurturing environment to build friendships, develop new skills, grow spiritually and have fun during the summer months.

Breakdown: Church Camp (a week)

Martial Arts Program:

• Monthly cost of $30.00 per child

Bible Study Yearly Membership:

• Annual fee of $30.00 per child

The youth is placed with her older sister so the youth may be in a family placement outside of foster care. The family just moved into a home of their own, and the youth has her own bedroom. The caregiver needs assistance with paying her rent this month due to unexpected circumstances that caused her to miss days of work. If the caregiver receives assistance, she will not be behind on her rent and face additional late fees.

The caregivers are currently providing placement to seven siblings on this case. The family requires assistance in ensuring all of the children’s needs are met. The most prominent issue is feeding all the children. I am requesting a Publix gift card to assist the family in meeting the children’s needs. When the request is met, caregivers will receive assistance with feeding the children in their care.

A grandfather is raising his two grandsons and is actively pursuing full custody of the children through family court. The grandfather receives no help from the father of the children and the grandfather does not want to ask for help. He is humble, faithful and fighting so hard for his health and the children who so desperately need him and the stability he provides to their life. He is living off of a fixed income and hoping to get to Boston MA soon where his supports are but he cannot go until custody is granted. The grandfather remains so positive during trying times and always keeps a smile on his face. He has an upcoming electric bill that assistance in paying would be helpful, although he does not want to ask for the assistance. The children are in 4T-5T pull ups and go through these quickly. One of the children has to drink a lot of Pediasure drinks and all of his SNAP benefits go towards this and nothing else. If anything, this grandfather would greatly benefit from a community to surround him, pray for him and uplift him. He has become hopeless at times during this process, but he never stops smiling for these two young boys. He is a deserving man of any support and love that can be provided. After two years, five siblings: 9(F) 11(M) 11(M) 13(F) & 15(M) are finally being reunited with their parents. The parents have diligently fulfilled all components of their case plan, including improving their parenting skills and resolving safety concerns, demonstrating consistent stability and readiness for reunification

As part of these efforts, they have secured a stable new three-bedroom home to accommodate all five children, effectively addressing the core housing requirement for the transition. However, the family faces a significant barrier: they lack the necessary funds to furnish the home. Specifically, they need five sets of beds, mattresses, and comforters for the children’s bedrooms. This a vital step in the reunification process.

Providing these essentials will create a safe, comfortable environment conducive to overnight stays and will remove the last material barrier to reunification. The caregiver is taking care of two of her grandsons and is in need of a highchair for the youngest child. The caregiver is on a fixed income and is in need of extra support for the children. When the caregiver received the children, she had to purchase all the baby items for them since she did not have any before that. The caregiver is also taking care of her granddaughter which requires a lot of her income. The highchair for the child will help him eat his food independently while the caregiver cares for the other child and granddaughter.

The children came into the dependency system with the caregiver in October of 2024. The caregiver has had the children since they entered the system. The caregiver is currently not receiving any funding. The caregiver is currently struggling financially as she is only making $18 an hr. She lost her home due to hurricane Milton and has been staying in a hotel since January with the children. The cost of the hotel is $100 per day Monday-Thursday and $150 per day Friday-Sunday. She is currently struggling to keep up with these payments and has been in danger of being kicked out of the hotel this week. She is having difficulty saving for a deposit since she has to ensure placement at the hotel each day. The caregiver has a home she can move into with a $100 application fee and a $1625 deposit. She has been approved by FEMA to pay 13 months of her rent once she finds a place, but she just hasn’t been able to save since she is paying daily at the hotel. The request is to assist in covering the $100 application fee and the $1625 deposit. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

A mother, her two younger children and her 21-year-old son are currently living in a hotel room. The mother is new to Florida and has been here for about one year now. She has been unable to work as she cares for the younger two children, one of which is diagnosed with autism and is on summer break from school. Without having childcare and no family or community supports; the mother has had to stay home to take care of them. Her adult son has managed to work two jobs for them to live in a hotel but on top of past due bills, they are struggling to make another week's payment to live in the hotel. She has stated that the hotel room is $582/weekly. The mother has been applying for jobs and is hoping to get back on her feet to get the children into childcare and move into an apartment.

The caregiver recently got the placement of her young grandson; care giver also has 4 children of her own. She is the sole caregiver and provider for her children with lack of family support. The caregiver recently increased her hours and has been working around the clock to catch up on rent and bills. Despite all the caregiver’s efforts, she was issued final notice for payment of rent. The caregiver and the children will be evicted on Tuesday. We are requesting $500 in order to get the caregiver and her family into a motel while they get all their housing in order.

Single mother of one just moved into her new place. The mother is currently seeking support to obtain essential household items to further stabilize their living environment. A dining room table would provide a central space for shared meals and family connection, while a dresser would help organize clothing and create a more comfortable, functional home. These items will contribute to a sense of routine, structure, and well-being for everyone in the household. Any help with these items would be so greatly appreciated.
