Great-Grandparents recently took in their 3 great-grandchildren all who are 3 and younger. The grandparents expressed that they get a lot of physical help caring for the children from their church members, however they also need help in getting the children food. The parents of the children help as much as they can however they live in another county. They have tried to go to food pantries but it's a hassle for them to leave out the home with all the children. They are asking for assistance with a food gift card so they can order the groceries online and have them delivered to the home.

The mother, 32 years of age, moved to Nashville with no family or friends here. She lived in a DV shelter with her 6 children. The mother was granted an apartment. While living in this apartment, the mother has expressed concerns of numerous water leaks, no air conditioning in the summer, no hot water, and black mold. Last Monday, a pipe burst in the home causing significant water damage. As well as the growing black mold. DCS has placed the family into a hotel in Nashville.

We are requesting assistance with short term housing (or assistance with the hotel expense), clothing for the family (majority of their things have been damaged by the water leaks/mold), and food for the family while they are away from home. DCS and the mother are working with partners to get this resolved as soon as possible.

Case worker is requesting assistance with paying for a mother's vehicle to be fixed. Mother's water pump went out. Mother replaced this but then found out that the fan was bad. Mother has been quoted $350 to replace the fan.

Case worker wants to point out that mother has worked all her steps towards reunification and a trial home visit with her daughter recently started in January 2025. The daughter has medical/mental health appointments that require transportation. Case worker wants to assist with this transportation issue so it is not a barrier to permanency.

A sibling group of three is moving kinship homes on Friday 2/21/25. Case worker is requesting assistance loading the children's items in Murfreesboro, TN then transporting them to Pulaski, TN and unloading at the new foster home location. A Uhaul rental may not be needed if responder has a truck/large van. Items to transport include the following: twin bunk beds, two mattresses, toddler bed/mattress, two totes per child.

Teenage mother gave birth to a healthy baby yesterday. The hospital told her she could not take the baby home without them seeing a car seat. The family also needs a pack and play to ensure safe sleep is followed. Baby is discharging tomorrow.

AGAPE is working with a birth mother who recently received custody of her two children back from DCS. She and her children were living at a local halfway house when the children first stepped down to her care. She now completed the program and is moving not an apartment. Mom is in need of kitchen items and furniture. Any funds or items towards mother’s move would greatly bless this family.

A teen youth recently was placed in an alternative school due to his behaviors. He is now required to wear a uniform daily to school. The cost of these uniforms will be a burden to the foster family. Any funds that can go towards this purchase will be a blessing to this family/youth.

We have the a young gentleman in our organization who is ambitiously pursuing independence by living on his own. He is currently facing a temporary financial challenge and requires rental assistance this month to prevent receiving an eviction notice. This dedicated and diligent young man is committed to his responsibilities and with your generous support, he can overcome this hurdle and continue his journey towards self-sufficiency. This rental assistance must be submitted today. Your assistance would profoundly impact his ability to remain independent and thrive.

A support staff at Jere Baxter is flee from a domestic violence situation with her children. She is struggling to make ends meet with the new changes but know its what is best for her children. She is needing assistance with her rent... I would love to help her and her children. Anything will help and we would be so so grateful for the support!!

An immigrant family that is having a hard time needs help with their bills and paying rent, the father is working only 5 hours a day in a part time job due to one of his sons being paralyzed after being shot, the second son was diagnosed with suicidal ideations and aggressive disorder, the family is trying to pay off all the medical bill, therapies and attend all the medical appointments for the children and have a limited income.

The family needs help with the rent and bills.

All the family needs clothes, mom is worry due her children situation and the limited family support they have.

This family has fell on hard times and has fallen behind on their rent. They were not able to pay all of January ($300 is still owed) and have not paid any of February's rent ($1,200). The family has an evection letter stating they must pay all of the past due rent of $1,500 or be out of the home by February 21, 2025.

The family has 2 children (toddler and infant). If the family is unable to secure housing the children will very likely enter the foster care system. Both parents are currently unable to work and are not receiving any form of finical assistance.

The mother and child are residing in a treatment facility and have limited resources and no income. The mother has a 2 month old baby and is not able to work at this time. The mother is needing clothing for herself. The mother wears a size 1X. The mother needs daily clothes as well as clothes she can wear when she interviews for jobs.
