The client is a 40-year-old married woman and the mother of three children. Her family has been experiencing significant financial and economic hardship, which has deeply affected their daily lives. Despite these ongoing challenges, they have remained committed to their healing—physically, emotionally, and financially. Recently, a change in their circumstances has made it increasingly difficult for them to meet even their most basic needs. The family is doing all they can to persevere, but at this moment, they require additional support. The items and services requested are not about comfort or luxury—they are essential to the family's stability, sense of dignity, and ability to move forward. The client needs a couch, a dining table with four chairs, a television, and a stand to accommodate the television. Support from CarePortal at this time would significantly ease the family's burden, offering them the resources necessary to rebuild, recover, and continue striving toward a more secure and hopeful future. *****NOTE: "This request is being submitted by the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County on behalf of the client. Dear community, we are reaching out to support a hardworking single mother of four who has recently lost her full-time job cleaning hotel rooms due to a drop in bookings. She is now only working two days a week and actively looking for more work. Her job search has been especially difficult due to her legal status in this country, but despite the challenges, she remains hopeful. She is not currently receiving food stamps or child support, which has made it even harder to stay afloat.

She is now short on rent for July 1st, especially after falling behind on her electricity bill. Our organization is stepping in to help with groceries, and basic needs — and we are also working to help her find additional resources. We are doing everything we can to help her and her children stay in their apartment and avoid eviction.

If you’re able to support with some of the rent, no matter how small, it would make a real difference for this family during this difficult time. Thank you for your compassion and solidarity.
