Requesting assistance for 6 children, ages 11,10,9,6,3,2. Their mother dropped them off with their father at his apt in February. She has not returned. He's struggling. She dropped them off without any clothes or diapers. He works full time & has always provided for the children but they lived with their mother. He was able to make ends meet and pay child support, but now he's behind in his rent, he hasn't been to court for child support, and she has the children on her benefits, to include Section 8 housing. Father in need of assistance, to include clothes, shoes, diapers & wipes. Diapers are 3T & 4T.

Dear community, we are reaching out to support a hardworking single mother of four who has recently lost her full-time job cleaning hotel rooms due to a drop in bookings. She is now only working two days a week and actively looking for more work. Her job search has been especially difficult due to her legal status in this country, but despite the challenges, she remains hopeful. She is not currently receiving food stamps or child support, which has made it even harder to stay afloat.

She is now short on rent for July 1st, especially after falling behind on her electricity bill. Our organization is stepping in to help with groceries, and basic needs — and we are also working to help her find additional resources. We are doing everything we can to help her and her children stay in their apartment and avoid eviction.

If you’re able to support with some of the rent, no matter how small, it would make a real difference for this family during this difficult time. Thank you for your compassion and solidarity.
