OKDHS is trying to help Bio Mom reunify with her two children, and do hope for Trial Reunification at the next court hearing in April. Mom graduated from rehab in January 2025, and is currently involved with Sober Living, while maintaining her sobriety. Mom is working currently, but is needing repairs on her car. The CV joints need to be replaced, and she has purchased the parts. However, due to limited resources, she is needing help in paying for the CV joints to be installed on her car. This would help her become more independent and dependable by allowing her to go to work and to visitations with her children with her own transportation. She does have an estimate for the labor which totals $170.

This child was removed at birth over two years ago and placed with family. She is a rambunctious child that requires constant supervision and care. She recently learned how to climb in and out of her crib so she is needing a new bed that is better suited for her. The family has a twin mattress for her, but thinks a floor bed with wooden slat supports on the sides would better meet her current needs. We have a child that has been in custody for a while and is currently staying in a group home. His birthday is next week. He will be turning 16. He is a very kind and funny boy and all he is asking for is a gift card to Dave and Buster's. Anything and everything is greatly appreciated if you would like to get this boy a birthday gift.

A bio family is in need of a twin size mattress and frame for their five year old daughter. Bio mom works full-time and dad stays at home with children. Family has limited finances and is doing the best they can at this time to provide for their young family. Any assistance to help this family, will be greatly appreciated.

Greetings! I am working with a family who has a 7-year-old little girl who is diagnosed with Autism. This child would greatly benefit from a weighted vest to help assist with behavior de-escalation and sensory relief. This young lady was extremely excited to show me her unicorn weighted blanket that she uses every night to sleep & when I talked with her about a weighted vest, she was elated about the idea of receiving one. The family & child would really appreciate the support from their community by receiving this item.

Family is in the process of getting ready for overnights and to reunify back together at home. Family has gotten just about everything, but beds for the children. They are asking for a little help to get the beds. Since they have so many children, they were thinking it would be best to have the girls and the boy have bunk beds. If possibly they are wanting 2 twin bunks with futon on bottom (if not available then twin to not take up too much room in the bedrooms), then one bunk bed with twin on top and bottom, 3 bunk beds all together to support their blended family needs. The family has recently gotten more of the furniture they need. The family also needs a dining table to fit 8 people if possible, the square one might fit the space better, but whatever is available will help, they have 6 children (5 girls, 1 boy) when they have them all at once. The family is grateful for any help.

We have a foster home that is willing to take in three siblings and keep them together if possible. The two boys can share a room but will need twin sized beds for the room. They are also requesting a tall dresser for their clothing. This is a traditional home with a big heart that is willing and understanding of children in need. We appreciate any help available for this family and to help secure these children have a safe and comfortable place to sleep and remain together.

Due to the family's low income and having 7 children total in the home, they are needing help with beds. The family is unable to purchase any at this time and without proper sleeping arrangements the family will not be in compliance with DHS and could lose placement. Please help.

The family is in need of child locks for their cabinets to help with maintaining a kinship placement to their two grandchildren. The family is on a fixed income and due to the grandmother having a stroke the family is in need of help. This is needed in order for the home to be approved in order for the family to keep the children.
