Hello, I have a grandmother on my case load who recently obtained guardianship of her granddaughter. My client recently had knee surgery and is going through a slow recovery process. My client has fallen behind on some of her rent and would greatly benefit from any rental assistance. My client reported she should be able to go back to work within three weeks. Thank you for all you do for our families!

We are asking for assistance for a mother who is working to reunify with her 8 month old son and expecting her second child. As part of her reunification process she is needing to complete a psychological evaluation which costs $1200. She is a full time student with a limited income. She is looking for work but has been having a hard time with her services, school work, and attending her and her child's medical appointments. We are asking for assistance with the cost of the psychological evaluation. Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

The parent is currently in need of rental assistance in the amount of $200 to maintain stable housing. There are two minor children residing in the home. the mother has a limited capacity to work due to personal circumstances and lacks any familial or community support systems to assist her at this time. Without this assistance, the family risks increased housing instability.

We have a single mother with 5 children, who's youngest two are twins. They are both set to start school in the 2025-26 school year. However, do to the moves she has had to make for their safety, she does not have the birth certificates for her twins. She is needing financial assistance to obtain those birth certificates to ensure they are able to attend a safe school with their siblings. The total for the birth certificates is $35. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

We have a wonderful family that has taken in 3 wonderful children. Family is waiting on stipend and having a really hard month and is in need of a set of sheets for toddler girl. Family is in need of crib size sheets for a girl. If anyone is able to help it would be greatly appreciated. Please reach out to me if you are able to meet.

We have a foster mom raising 5 kids and fostering a teen girl. Foster mom has spent a lot of time in the hospital with her youngest child and due to missing work, is unable to pay for household items that she needs. The family could use paper products, laundry detergent, groceries, hygiene items, etc. Foster mom also could use assistance with gas money as well. Mom is currently in inpatient services and is facing financial hardships while being away. Her apartment complex requires a $600 payment by the 20th or they will evict her. The goal is to have children return home once she competes her inpatient services. This mom will benefit greatly with some assistance.

This family consists of foster mom and her 15 year old foster daughter. Foster mom is 58 and her only income is her social security disability income. She is needing assistance paying her electric bill as she has very little disposable income and is behind on bills. Any and all help getting her electric bill paid would be greatly appreciated.

A hard working and loving father is currently doing a great job caring for his 3 kids in trial reunification. This father is in-between jobs right now and needs assistance with his rent payment. This father works hard and is always resourceful but needs some assistance during this difficult but temporary time. Please consider helping this family so that they do not become unhoused. The rent is $875, but any amount would be appreciated.

HELP! HELP! HELP! We have a current foster home who is struggling with life right now. The foster home has placement of two beautiful children however he is recently going through a divorce and still struggling with now getting rid of bedbugs. Thank you to our wonderful community on getting help with the bedbug treatment however the foster parent is needing help cleaning up his home to start the process of treatment. Foster parent is a wonderful sweet person (veteran) who only wants the best for the two OKDHS children. We are asking for volunteers on helping the foster parent clean up his home. Please! We have all heard the saying "All hands on Deck!" now would be the time to apply this meaning for this home! :-)

14-year-old foster child is placed in non-relative Kinship Placement. Family is urgently needing a gently used full size refrigerator (60 inches tall and 48 inches wide) as theirs went out this week and they cannot afford one themselves. Family struggles financially and is currently using a mini fridge in the meantime that does not have adequate space. Both foster family and agency would appreciate the help in securing this foster home a new refrigerator to maintain placement. Any help you can give will be appreciated!

Single mom is needing assistance with air conditioning. Her air conditioner went out and the technician told her today that they will order the part tomorrow and it will not be here until the end of the week or possibly next week. They also said that if that did not fix it, she would need a new system that she cannot afford and would also take longer to get that installed. The house consists of foster mom, 2 adult children, 1 other adult, 3 children placed in the home through kinship and 4 children placed in the home through traditional foster care. One of the children has special needs. They do not have anywhere to stay as they stated they are the home that everyone comes to stay at. This is an emergency need due to the heat and the children being home all day. We are asking for any assistance with HVAC help/discounts or suggestions.
