A grandmother is placement for her 3-year-old granddaughter. She is requesting a smoke and CO2 detectors, as well as a fire extinguisher. She is also requesting assistance with groceries. She is requesting clothing for her, as well, especially underwear, and she just became potty trained. She wears size 3T-5T.

An aunt is placement for her 3-month-old niece. She is requesting help with formula. The infant takes Nutramigen Hypoallergenic Ready-to-Feed.

A grandmother has recently taken in her 2 year old grandson. The grandmother is in the process of filing guardianship. The grandmother is looking for assistance to help care for the child. The grandmother is seeking the following:

Diapers: size 4/5 (child is 35-40lbs) prefers the LUVS brand Wipes: sensitive skin Clothes(preferably summer clothes): 3T

Single Father needing gas card until next paycheck and groceries. Get paid in next two weeks but has limited food in the fridge to make meals in the home. Will be able to maintain providing moving forward.

The family is in need of a bunk bed so the children can share a room. There are 3 children between 2 bedrooms. The 2 girl children would benefit from the bunk bed so they are able to share a room and maintain their living arrangements. The children are living with an Aunt and this would help maintain their placement.

I am requesting a twin be and bedding for a child placed in a relative home. They have income but they have their own child and expecting second child. The child placed in their home using one of their step child's bed. In summer he comes to visit his father. He came two days ago and using his bed. The child placed in the home needs a bed. Without a proper bed the family will not able to meet basic living standard for her. The family is committed to create a safe and stable environment, and receiving this assistance would greatly support preserve the placement.

DCS has been involved since September of 2024. Children are ages 3 (male) and 5 (female) and are in the process of transitioning to a new placement due to another incident of domestic violence occurring in front of the children while in relative placement. The current placement has all appropriate services needed for the children other than the correct sized car seats. Both children need booster seats with a back.

A family of 6 has just migrated from Africa to America and is in the process of getting settled into new home. The family has had trouble with finding resources in order to provide clothing for the 4 children in the home, as well as the supplies to keep up with hygiene. The children range in age and sizes: male (age 10) size kids M/L in Tops/Bottoms and size 4/5 in shoes, female (age 7) size kids 7/8 in Tops/Bottoms and size 13 in shoes, male (age 3) size 2T/3T in Tops/Bottoms and size 3 in shoes, male (newborn) size 0-3 months clothing. The family would also like assistance with attaining cleaning supplies such as laundry detergent, bath soap, and dish soap. Providing these items will allow the children to have proper fitting clothes for school as well as allowing the family to keep the home clean and safe for the kids.

Relative placement that has a two year old child is in need of assistance regarding a toddler bed.

DCS has been invoked since April of 2025. Mother of child is deceased and father has not been in contact with DCS since the opening of this case. The child was previously placed in foster care in Lake County and just recently moved back to Marion County. The previous bed for the placement broke before the child arrived and FCM bought child an air mattress for the time being. Placement needs assistance with a new bed for the child that is more sustainable than an air mattress.

Family was displaced from previous address due to eviction in Fall 2024. From Fall 2024 - Spring 2025 family was displaced in various locations to include shelter and family homes. During that time family lost nearly all of daily items needed in household. Mom is working to reestablish herself and her children and could use any of the following items:

Living room furniture Dinette Table Set Deep Freezer Queen Bed Set Bedding Pots Pans Silverware Dishes Television (if there is one) BBQ grill (if there is one)

This is a large family - Mom has 6 children and one grandchild living with her. All items do not need to come together - she will be thankful for any items on the list so if only some items are available at a time from one location that is okay for her.
