testing for child in this home is 7-years-old. The family just moved here and mother stays at home and father is seeking work. Father has not found employment since they moved. The 7-year-old has a twin-size bed frame, but no mattress. He is currently sleeping on an air mattress. Caseworker found child's room to be nearly empty and the family has very little furniture since they moved. 7-year-old needs twin size mattress and bedding.

A provider has taken in three children and is currently struggling to purchase food for the children. The provider is barely getting by ad reported the children are eating cereal and noodles to ensure they get to eat. The provider is asking for a $300 Walmart gift card to help purchase food until she is able to buy food on her own. The provider is thankful for any help that is received.

The Department is working with parents whose 7-month-old infant is currently placed in foster care. They are in need of assistance with the cost of an oil change. They are struggling with this expense due to the mother having been out of work, as a stay-at-home parent and full-time student, and the father just recently having obtained employment. They have been selling personal items to get by while they catch up financially. They are participating in visits with their child and engaged in all services. Any assistance with this need so that these parents can maintain their source of stable transportation to work and case commitments is greatly appreciated!

Father of child needs a lock box that is larger than what we can supply. The father is on several medictaions and has them on the counter currently. We are asking for funding for a lock box so that they will be secured away from the 2 year old. The parents of the child are both working. They make too much money for services but barely enough to live on. They are a faith based family and woud be blessed to have a gift card in the amount of $50.00 to purchase the lock box.

A mom of a baby boy was accepted into low income housing last week. Due to unforseen disruptions to her work schedule, she needs assistance with her deposit. If this $500 request is granted, it will be the first step towards independence for mom as she works towards reunification with her son.

Grandmother has recently gone back to work, but when there is inclement weather, she has been unable to work due to the nature of her job. We have a student that is unable to purchase the equipment he needs in order to be successful in school. Our student needs speech to text beyond the school building and unfortunately, we are unable to provide him with any device that would be able to leave the school. We are asking for a computer that he could utilize in school and at home; his current computer is literally falling apart. His family has had significant struggles over the last year with another child being hospitalized for a few months, parents losing and gaining jobs at different times, and their student having special needs that they are unable to provide for.
