This request is on behalf of a Hope Florida participant that is a single mother of four children. The participant is disabled, and she lives on a fixed income and receives disability benefits. The father of the children is missing from their lives and doesn't help the children financially or emotionally. The family receives food stamps but unfortunately this does not help them with their day-to-day needs. One of the children is disabled as well and receives disability benefits. The participant is currently pregnant, and this has caused an increase in the amount of the expenses. These children are lacking enough clothing and shoes. Their clothing is worn out and limited and they have outgrown their shoes. They have outgrown the little clothing that they have. They are in dire need of clothing for the summer months. Your help with clothing and shoes will allow them to attend school, attend doctor appointments and in other daily activities. The clothing will help them greatly as this will improve their quality of life and level of comfort in these very warm summer months. Please help this family in this difficult time. The mother and her 16-year-old son who has behavior disability, are currently homeless following recent eviction. The family lacks stable housing, food security and support. The mother has exhausted local shelter options including Family Promise and has no family support in the area. Immediate assistance is required to ensure safety, stability and access to services. Any help is appreciated, food, gift cards, housing information, etc.

I came in contact with a veteran family who lost their home in a fire. They are currently staying in an Airbnb, while their house is being rebuilt; however, the insurance company informed them that they will no longer pay for the Airbnb. They are hoping to move back into their home on August 1st, but they need financial assistance for the one month left on the Airbnb. Total amount needed is $3600.00

Granmother caring for children needs financial assistance to pay basketball classes for one of the kids as well as assistance with her utility bill and access to clothing for the children. Grandmother has to work extra to support her daughter who suffers with mental health issues and is struggling to parent solo.

Caregiver, grandmother is trying her best to support her son with grandchildren caring for them at her home. She is not working and needs assistance accesing basic needs such as food and cleaning supplies for when the children are at home with her.

A 2 y/o little girl is with her father. He is asking for assistance with a car seat for his daughter. He is working full time but is currently on child support and has expenses including his apartment which have limited his funds to buy a car seat. This car seat will help immensely Car seat MUST BE NEW due to guidelines we must follow.

We have a devoted adoptive and foster mom to five amazing children—ages 1, 4, 5, 6, and 14. She’s adopted three and fosters two, creating a loving home where every child feels safe and valued.

Recently, she received heartbreaking news: one of her children has been diagnosed with a terminal condition. As she pours her love and energy into caring for her child and keeping her family strong, the everyday needs continue to grow.

With summer here, her children are in need of clothing, shoes, and basic essentials. Gift cards to places like Target or Walmart would go a long way in helping this family provide for them without added stress. These simple things summer outfits, socks, sandals, even school supplies would bring comfort and a sense of normalcy during a very difficult time.

Single mom of three (ages 3, and 2 year old twins) that is needing some financial assistance in order to complete the rent. Client works full time. Father of the babies is no longer helping with bills or giving child support. Client is now on her own with all of the bills including daycare. By client getting this help it will keep her from getting behind on bills and creating a bigger financial hardship.

I have a client, who is a mother of an 8-month-old baby girl, and she is experiencing financial hardship. Currently, the client advised that she is behind on a month's rent of $1500. The client advised she does not have the funds to pay the rent and is being threatened with an eviction notice at this time. The client has tried to reach out to other agencies but was advised there was no more funding. The client has no one else to ask. At this time, the mother is experiencing sadness and anxiety as she is worried about getting kicked out of the home and becoming homeless. She has nowhere to go with the baby. When this need is met, the client will be able to feel content and secure within her home with her baby. She will be able to pay the rent and provide a more secure sense of wellbeing and safety for the child.

A a single mother and domestic violence survivor. She's mother of three children, ages 6 months, four and six. She works full time and her earnings are largely consumed by court fees, attorney costs, and other legal expenses stemming from her situation. Previously, she was receiving food stamps, however she's no longer eligible due to employment. Food assistance would significantly alleviate her financial stress by ensuring that her children have reliable and nutritious meals.

This client is a determined single mother of three young children and is currently expecting her fourth child, due at the end of November. After leaving a domestic violence situation involving her daughter’s father, she found her current housing through a realtor with the support of a recovery program. While the unit provided a degree of location stability, it is not in a safe neighborhood and has offered no financial relief—in fact, the cost has hindered her ability to save or progress toward long-term goals. The home also has unresolved mold concerns that may be affecting her children’s health. Despite earning certifications to improve her employment prospects, her pregnancy has made it increasingly difficult to sustain steady income, especially without family support or inconsistent housing.

The client has recently fallen behind on rent and is now facing eviction. She was able to temporarily avoid formal court proceedings by agreeing to vacate within a week, but she currently has nowhere to go. With school out for the summer, no family support, and pregnancy, she is urgently seeking relocation assistance to secure safe, stable housing for herself and her children. She has already begun the process of moving but needs expedited support to complete the transition safely and avoid homelessness. This is a critical and time-sensitive situation, and immediate help could make all the difference in ensuring this family’s safety and future stability.
