Single Mother of 6, requesting assistance with a gas card to be able to take the children to school. The family lost their home due to the hurricanes. The family is currently staying in a shelter that is further away from the kids’ schools than their house was. A gas card would alleviate some financial cost on the mother and allow her to save money for permanent housing and for other things the children may need.

A foster family is taking placement of twin baby boys, and they are needing some items. Here is a list of some of their needs: -bottle cleaning brushes -size 4 diapers -Teethers that go in the freezer -6+ month pacifiers -large diaper bag -A&D diaper rash cream

The mother I am requesting for is a mother of five children. The oldest child is her stepson, who is disabled. In March 2023, the children’s father passed away. Sarah is currently not employed, as she has been struggling emotionally from the loss of her husband and desires to stay home with her two-year-old, who needs a parent at this time.

While they are receiving some life insurance funds, these are running out, and they were cut off from receiving benefits by SNAP due to the life insurance funds. As you can imagine, money is very tight for them. The mother is currently working on attempting to secure employment and that is the main focus while working with our program.

They are doing their best to keep up with their bills and have stayed current on their water and electric payments. However, they are struggling with some other bills that would be a huge blessing to receive assistance with. Specifically, they need help with the following: • Withlacoochee River Electric: $193.31 • Pasco County Utilities (Water): $31.12

A mother of 3 kids lost her job because her son got sick, and she had to take him to the hospital. The mother missed a few days of work and her supervisor would not let her return. This put the mother in a financial bind. She is a single mother of 3 children, and she pays all the bills. The children’s father does not contribute financially to any bills because he does not live in the home. The mother started a new job on Monday and has not yet received her first paycheck. This financial hardship has caused the mother to become behind on her water bill in the amount of $440. If this request is fulfilled, the mother will be able to become more self-sufficient. Once she has a steady income, she will be able to get back on track.

A single mother who recently had a baby is unemployed and experiencing financial strain. She has been unable to return to work due to lack of daycare for her baby. She is also helping her elderly father. She also does not receive any assistance from her child’s father. The mother needs a queen mattress and a queen box spring. She has a frame. She and her son currently share twin mattresses. The mattresses are all torn up. If this request is fulfilled, she and her son will no longer have to share a bed and will have comfortable sleeping arrangements. We are working with another provider to get the mother’s son a new bed. The other provider we are working with only provides beds for children and not adults.

02/04/2025 This family is a two-parent family with a stepmother, Dad and his two daughters age 4 and 9 years of age. The family is experiencing some financial hardships as the step mother has recently become unable to work and is waiting for her social security benefits. This was a two-income family and has reduced to one income. Dad has 50/50 custody of his daughters and shared that it has been a struggle with the school expenses and paying all the bills solely. The mortgage is behind, and the request is 500.00 to assist with the mortgage payment. This assistance will allow the father to be caught up on the mortgage payment. A new budget has been prepared and with your help this family will be current and able to maintain.

I'm currently working with a family that has a need for a laptop computer to be successful as a homeschooled student. This could be a slightly used donated computer or an inexpensive one. The family would really be thankful for either! This would eliminate an education barrier for this young man.

Help needed for a family in urgent need to avoid electricity disconnection. A single mother and her four children urgently need help. They moved from a shelter into subsidized housing. One child has special needs, and the mother is managing her own medical condition while caring for her family. Their total electric bill was $408.78. The family was able to get assistace through You Thrive and $193.07 was paid toward the electric bill. $220.71 remains and was due 1/29/25. The mother is able to procure $120. This request is for $100 as this will bring the mother electric bill current. Going forward, the mother has a sustanability plan as she has obtained employment and a budgeting plan has been completed with the mother. Any help is greatly appreciated!

A family is currently being evicted from their RV park and pending a move back to GA where their supports are, the father needs to finish up work this next week to ensure he is paid out for his work. The father has struggled to maintain stable employment in Florida which has resulted in the family to make arrangements to move back to GA with family and other informal supports. The family is looking for any assistance with a hotel for a few nights as they must be out of their RV park tomorrow and will no longer have a hook up for electricity, water, etc. The family is grateful for any assistance and will be more sustainable once they are able to relocate out of Florida in the next two weeks.

This is a two-parent family that were greatly affected by hurricane Milton and have recently returned to their home. They have two sons ages 7 and 12 years old. They have been having a difficult time with the rent being behind and need 300.00 and they will be current, and able to pay next month’s rent. The mother recently started a new job, and the father has a steady income detailing cars at a dealer. They are a hard-working young couple that would benefit greatly from your assistance. The children are very well mannered and doing well in school.

A single mother is struggling financially and needs assistance with her water bill in the amount of $300 and electricity bill in the amount of $160. She had to move during the hurricane, and she had to move in with her father. The hurricane has set her back tremendously and she is trying to get back on track with everything. She recently gave birth and also has to stay home to care for her elderly father. Her father doesn’t make much and once the rent is paid, the family barely has any money left over. The mother plans on going to school and is currently looking into school programs. If this request is fulfilled, it will help the mother to be more self-sufficient.

A single mother who just returned to work from maternity leave needs assistance with her water and electricity bills. She is a victim of domestic violence, and the offender is now in jail and no longer living in the home. As a result, the mother has no one to help her with bills this month and she will not have enough money on her paycheck this month to pay for everything. She is greatly appreciative of any help that can be provided.
