Mom and dad of baby boy want to start using cloth diapers for their baby to help with cost. The family is needing help getting these items.

single mom is requesting a bicycle and toddler seat/ helmet (child is a 2T size) to help get around and to work. She has recently been staying in a DV shelter after leaving an abusive relationship. This mom is newly pregnant and has been walking herself and her toddler son to all of their appointments. A bicycle would allow the mother to be more self-sufficient to provider for herself and children.
The address of the shelter she is staying at cannot be disclosed so it is asked that whoever meets the request drops of bike to CAPTA counselor.

mom and dad of sweet baby boy are needing help with some baby items as they are both currently unemployed. Mom is needing a wearable breast pump to help her breast feed the baby. The parents are also requesting a diaper changing station to help make diaper changes easier.

A child has been bounced back and forth between his mom’s house and grandmother's house and due to all of that he has fallen behind in school. He could benefit greatly from a computer or laptop to help him be able to do his summer schoolwork as he is not able to go to the school and the family does not have transportation. This child wants to do better but needs help to do it.

A grandmother is needing assistance with getting bunk beds for her grandchildren that were placed in her home in the past month. The grandmother has taken in her 4 grandchildren as well as her grandson who has been in her home since he was born. The caregiver is needing assistance with getting a set of 2 bunk beds and mattresses as well. Due to the sudden addition of her 4 grandchildren, the caregiver is not in a financial situation to purchase the beds herself. Especially not now as she was planning her own mother's funeral in the last week. Once this request is completed, the children will have proper sleeping arrangements and will help alleviate the stress that the grandmother is currently going through.

The mother was recently reunified with her 7 children. She is a single mom and has worked very hard to complete her case plan tasks, as well as balance working and being a mom to seven children so that she could be reunified. The mother recently moved into housing of her own, and the children need to attend a new daycare. The mother could use assistance with the upfront cost of registration fees for daycare for her four younger children. When the request is met, the four children will be able to start daycare and begin normalcy/routines post reunification

The Reunification Team is working with a single mother. The mother has an 11-month-old son who is very close to being reunified. The mother was working two jobs which took up the majority of her time. The mother is doing her very best to make her house a home, so that she and her son can feel safe and to also make sure they have a place that offers stability. The mother is commuting a great distance to work every day, so a lot of her money is being put towards gas. The mother is requesting the following items.

1. Sleeper sofa
2. Dining Table with four chairs
3. Microwave

The items listed above would truly benefit the mother and son, as well as her daughter who visits. Having a sleeper sofa would allow the mother to have her daughters to come stay the night, it would also give ample space for her and her children to spend time together as a family and create lasting memories. The mother does not have a dining room table as of right now, so she is forced to sit on the floor and eat. Having a designated eating area would promote family bonding and offer a space for the mother and son to enjoy family style dining. The mother also does not have a microwave inside of the home. This makes it very difficult for the mother to reheat food, especially since her stove has not been working properly. The time it takes the mother to try and get the stove working and since it does not get very hot, it has been taking up time the mother could be using to relax after working all day.

The Reunification Team is working with a single mother; the mother has a fifteen-year-old daughter and a nine-year-old son. The mother has been working extremely hard so that she can provide a stable and nurturing environment for her children. The mother was able to secure housing on her own, but she is unfortunately starting from scratch. The family is still staying at their previous residence since there is no furniture at their new residence. The children are doing well in school, and they have their mother's full support. The mother is doing everything in her power to provide for her children but is struggling financially to get them furniture for their new home. The mother is requesting the following items.

3. Washer and Dryer The items listed above would truly benefit not only the mother but the children as well. The children do not have beds of their own and there is no washer and dryer in her residence. The mother is losing a lot of time and spending unnecessary amounts of money getting the family's laundry done. If this family is able to get beds inside of the home, it would allow the family to begin staying at their home full time. With the family being able to stay inside of their home, it would make commuting to and from school and work much easier.

The family is in need of school supplies for the upcoming school year in August, as well as a birthday gift for their son, who will be turning 6. Due to recent financial strain, they are only able to allocate funds toward rent/food at this time for next couple of months. The father recently experienced a change in employment, resulting in the loss of 20 hours overtime each week, which has significantly impacted their budget. If this need is met, they will be able to provide the school supplies for their son and a gift for him without being too far behind on their rent. (School backpack - no wheels).
