This mother recently had to have her car repaired, luckily, a family member has allowed mom to use a truck of theirs, but the increased amount she is spending on gas has made paying her mechanic that much harder. I am hoping you all can help mom pay her mechanic, get her car back, in turn, helping mom to get her feet back on the ground.

We are working with a foster family, who is caring for a 2 year old boy who has been in their home who receives a number of services and will continue to do so moving forward. The family had a car seat however the child in their home had to be moved abruptly due to no fault of the family and has since returned to them, but the car seat that was his has since gone missing and has been unable to be located. At the current time the family is borrowing a seat from another family but would benefit from having their own car seat to ensure that the child in their home can be safely transported to and from his many appointments and visits with his biological family.

I'm working with a family in need who has lost their employment due to the season change therefore when the bunk bed structure broke in one of the rooms they have been unable to repair it properly or buy another one for the teenage boys. They don't have much space in the home therefore the mother placed 3 boys in one room and the oldest in the other. The oldest teen will soon be joined by his older adult brother in order for him to help out his mother when he finds a job. We would appreciate any assistance paying for a 3 bed bunk bed that has a Full XL, Twin XL, and Queen size frame. This is only bed similar to the broken that has been found at Walmart on sale for 332.50.

I am working with a grandmother who is taking care of her teen daughter's son with minimal income while working towards preserving reunification with her daughter. Due her vehicles transmission finally going out she no longer has transportation. She's struggled with meeting appointment needs, getting to work, grocery shopping, and taking the baby to daycare. The grandmother has been unable to work full time without a vehicle therefore doesn't have any money saved. She's been paying people to take the baby to daycare which has also stopped her from saving money. There has been a Auto Sales location that has offered to sell a 2010 Mazda 3 for $3400. We're asking for help with $1,700 to assist with at least half of the purchase due to her lack of funds. DSS is working towards assisting with the other half of the purchase.
