I have an adoptive single mother of two young girls, one of which is confirmed as special needs, who is having a hard time mentally and financially as she navigates her situation. This mother adopted her brother's biological children from birth, and has been taking good care of them without assistance until the last year and is now asking for help (a big step for her!). As the girls grow up, their needs change and mom is in need of community assistance to meet those needs as she works through her challenges. She has applied for food stamps and unfortunately due to her children being adopted, it's taking more time than she can wait, among other barriers she is working through. At this point in time, mom has no income source.

I am putting in two separate requests, based on importance and immediacy of need for her so she can continue to care for these girls while she improves her current situation.

1. She is in immediate need of groceries her autistic daughter will eat: Spaghetti, waffles, pizza, chicken nuggets, juices, healthy snacks, etc.
2. Financial assistance getting her van registered to she can start driving for work/income. $100 estimated need.

Mom has been doing her best at managing her situation for her girls and we are wanting to preserve this adopted family. Please consider assisting this mother make it through this next month so she can work on employment and other needs.

Please help preserve a kinship placement for three young girls ages 6, 2 and 7 months. The girls need just about everything a young girl wants from toys to basic and essential needs. There is also a need for hygiene products and baby girl items for the little one.

The 7-month-old needs include: 6–9-month clothing baby hygiene (shampoo, body wash lotions) size 4 diapers wipes Yellow Enfamil Formula baby toys tummy time mats/toys pac n play sheets mirror for car to watch baby in car seat Diaper bag 8oz bottles Bottle cleaner

The 2-year old's needs include: 3T pullups wipes Size 2t clothing, size 7 shoes Basic kids' hygiene (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) She loves baby dolls

The 6-year-olds needs include: Size 6 clothing Coloring supplies Puzzles Undergarments to include size 5 underwear Basic kids' hygiene (shampoo, conditioner, body wash)

Other needs: Twin Size mattress Twin storage trundle Small organizers/dressers for clothing

Single mom, 5 children. Electricity shut off today!!! They told her they would give her a month but shut it off anyway. Please help if possible. It is too hot for mom and children to be without electricity for long. Thank you so much!!

The child recently moved from a group home to a relative placement. The child came with very little from the group home. The child has a unique foot shape and needs size wide in shoes; she needs a size 8 wide in shoes and a size medium (adult) clothing. The child is very hard on shoes so durable shoes would be ideal. She is not picky about colors or anything, but she is 9 years old so colors and designs that would appeal to a 9-year-old. 

A family took in a 17 year old female relative. They are both single females that are raising their own children, but said yes to giving this child a safe and happy home. The child came with very few items and is in need of personal hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, face wash, shampoo, conditioner, pads/tampons), under garments, shoes, socks.

Underwear- Adult Medium Socks- Adult 9 1/2 Women Bras- Sport Bra Large Shoes- Adult 9 1/2 Women

Mom is currently a stay-at-home mother caring for her 3-month-old baby boy who is in need of some clothes, size 3-6 months. The older son is in need of twin size sheet sets. Dad does work and is doing his best to provide for his family. I believe it would mean a lot to this family to have a local church reach out to them in love and meet these needs. Thank you for the way you love everyone in our community.

Mom has recently been reunified with the children. Mom is single and working two jobs to support herself and the kids. Mom has also been working on obtaining her GED to have the opportunity to attend college to further her education to be able to provide a better life for her children. With the children being home from school for the summer mom is struggling to keep enough food for the family. The fulfillment of this request would greatly benefit the family and connecting with a local church would be a great for the whole family. There are no dietary restrictions for the family. Mom is grateful for whatever help she can get as she tries to make a better life for her children and herself. Mom is trying to get her children added back to her food assistance case and has done the things necessary for that, she is just waiting for the process on that.

It is a single young mother to one baby girl age 9 months that is in need of a baby bed. The mother has a bassinet, but the baby is too big now for the bassinet.

The caregiver is caring for her 4 grandchildren due to the children being removed from the parent’s domestic violence situation. The youngest grandchild just had hernia surgery on Friday May 23, 2025. Caregiver's vehicle, the 2015 Dodge Journey, with just over 100,000 miles had the transmission go out. It has been estimated to cost her between $1500 and $3000 to have it fixed. Caregiver is trying to care for the children herself and is in need of a vehicle that can transport all 4 children SAFELY. Please can we help her out with this request.

3 y/o male child placed in home with fictive kin and older sibling. He is in need of clothing size 3-4 T, a dresser, pull ups size 5, wipes, socks and shoes size 10. Family may identify other needs once contacted by care portal team. Any help for this family would be greatly appreciated.

Spanish speaking 3 y/o female child placed in care givers home with no supplies. The family is not known to the caregivers, but they are pastors, and they offer support to our Spanish community that do not have any other family or resources. They offer support to the parents as well as to the children in need. They are in need of the following items for the child:
Pull-ups size 6-7 (child wears at night only) Food(s)- child eats fruits (all), whole milk, and ground beef Clothing-sizes 4-5T Dresses, underwear to encourage potty training, shoes size 9 Toddler Car seat for a 6 y/o child that is also in the home at this time Any help provided would be greatly appreciated in order to keep this placement stable. The caregivers are able to communicate with the child and are here to support the family when appropriate to do so.

Eight-year-old male child placed with relatives in need of clothing. Child wears Mens Medium shirts, pants, and 7 1/2-8 in mens shoes. Came to care givers home with very little any help would be greatly appreciated.
