Youth joined a small group through the youth program at the church and they communicate via phone. So at this time, he isn't able to fully participate in the church support group.

We have a family that is close to being able to reunify. The father obtain more spacious housing for himself and his child. He is a hardworking dad, and his son, 6 years old, needs a bed. He's sleeping on a pull-out couch, and could benefit from a bed. The father has reached out to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, but was told that they don't have any available builders in his area. This child could benefit from a twin or full-sized bed frame, box springs, and mattress. Also bedding and sheets. He loves cammo, hunting and fishing.

Currently a mother and her three children are homeless. The mother just lost her job recently and got evicted today. The mother does not have transportation, and the children have not had anything to eat. The family has tried reaching out to multiple food banks to assist but have been unsuccessful.

Parent has limited transportation this week and is starting a new job today. He resides in Lawrenceville and will be working in Winder. He would like a Lyft or Uber gift card to assist him from getting to and from work this week.

Hello everyone, I am reaching out to see if we can help a youth who has graduated high school and is not in a college program. The youth recently moved into his own apartment as part of the independent living program. The youth is seeking assistance with groceries and an uber gift card to search for a job. Hello! We need your help. One of our foster families has accepted a short-term placement of a teenage girl into their home. The foster child and the foster child's friend took money from the foster parents' biological sons, which totaled up to $175.00. The money is now gone, and the teenager is unable to have a stream of income at this time to pay them back. We are looking to help replace a portion of these funds for the boys and are asking for two $50 Visa gift cards. Thank you for considering to help with this need!

I am writing on behalf of a single mother in our community who is currently experiencing a temporary financial hardship. She is the sole provider for her two minor children and is navigating a challenging custody battle that has resulted in significant legal expenses.

Despite these challenges, she is working full-time and actively seeking additional employment opportunities to improve her financial situation. She is committed to providing a stable and nurturing environment for her children and has been diligently pursuing community resources for support. Unfortunately, she has not yet been able to secure the assistance she needs.

This month, she is struggling to cover her utility bill, and we are humbly requesting financial assistance from the church and faith-based community to help her through this difficult time. Your support would provide critical relief and help her maintain stability for her family.

The family consists of a single father working on a reunification case plan with the Department of Family and Children Services to be reunited with his 1-year-old daughter. Although he is employed, he is currently facing reduced hours at work and is three hundred dollars short on his rent. On behalf of this family, I am requesting assistance from the community. Your support will help ensure that the father and his daughter can continue visiting his home.

The CM Fyne is reaching out for help regarding a 14 year old girl who wants to go on a trip out of the county. The youth wants to experience a sense of normalcy and have the opportunity to enjoy her summer. She is looking forward to this trip and praying that she can receive the assistance needed. Grandma and grandpa are taking care of their grandson (13) while the department works with the mother to improve her current state. Grandpa has been blind for 10 years and cannot collect disability, nor can he work. Grandma collects disability and the family lives off of this income. The grandparents need some assistance with funding for food while they are caring for their growing (and very hungry) 13 year old grandchild.

DFCS has an open case for a family in need of a twin size mattress for a child's bed. The family is working to ensure safety and that all needs are met. BMo is currently unemployed as she is caring for an 11 month old, 1 year old, and 4 year old.

A foster parent is in need of money for an expedited passport so they can take one of their foster children on a vacation in July. This will help the child to have some normalcy in their life.
