Cleveland County Child Welfare is reaching out for your support. Our staff is currently providing around-the-clock care for several youth who require a high level of supervision and are unable to leave our office setting. This care has been ongoing for the past month, with staff remaining in the office day and night to ensure the safety and well-being of these children. Currently we have two youth in the office now planning night sleeping at the office with minimum of 1 to 2 workers included at all times.

We are in need of assistance with snacks, easy-to-prepare meals, and drinks to help sustain both our youth and dedicated staff. Our office is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and Keurig, which allows for limited food preparation. We would be incredibly grateful for a variety of items, including both healthy and fun options, to help keep everyone nourished and comforted during this time. The items they have suggested but not limited to: chips, ramen, apple sauce pouches, lunch meat, cutie oranges, corndogs, White Castle burgers, juices, powerade, bottled water, crystal light packets etc.

Any support your church can provide—whether through food donations, drinks, or meal deliveries—would be deeply appreciated by both our youth and staff.

A single mother of two is participating in a preservation case with the agency. She is behind on rent for the month of June. She had previous roommates who were helping her pay the bills however she had to ask them to leave to keep her children safe. The roommates were using illegal drugs in the home. She unexpectedly will have to cover bills without any assistance moving forward. This mother is solely dependent on her own income now. She has no family who can assist her and if this family is asked to leave, she has no safe options for her and her family to reside as part of the reason the agency is involved is due to unsafe people being around her children. We hope if she can get June covered, she will be able to save enough between now and July's rent due date. She owes 288 to get current. Any assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello, I have a teenager that is doing well in a foster home and learning new skills and traits! Recently She learned how to mow the front yard, but ended up leaving the battery out in the rain and it is now ruined. We were hoping that someone would be willing to help replace it or if they had an extra mower laying around that would be very helpful. Thank you!

A biological father and mother are needing assistance with utilities such as water and electricity. The parents have been struggling financially as the father is not able to work out of town for extra money as he needs to stay close to be able to participate in his court ordered services. The parents are both in parenting classes, and the father is engaged in services. The mother and father are needing assistance with their utilities so that they can put money towards building a fence and a porch for their 4-year-old daughter and be able to work towards getting a new stove in their camper. Any financial assistance for the family would be greatly appreciated.

Mom and son in Trial Reunification. Mom utilizes food stamps, community market, and tribal assistance but is in need this month of help with groceries. She is on a fixed income and says her property taxes and home insurance rates continue increasing making it difficult to make ends meet since she cannot work. She's requesting help with groceries this month.

HELP! HELP! HELP! We have a current foster home who is struggling with life right now. The foster home has placement of two beautiful children however he is recently going through a divorce and still struggling with now getting rid of bedbugs. Thank you to our wonderful community on getting help with the bedbug treatment however the foster parent is needing help cleaning up his home to start the process of treatment. Foster parent is a wonderful sweet person (veteran) who only wants the best for the two OKDHS children. We are asking for volunteers on helping the foster parent clean up his home. Please! We have all heard the saying "All hands on Deck!" now would be the time to apply this meaning for this home! :-)

Hello all! A local foster family is in need of assistance as the foster dad has recently been laid off from his job. The foster family has been able to take care of most bills, but are struggling with the gas bill and it is at risk of shutting off. Please let me know if you can assist

Single mom is needing assistance with air conditioning. Her air conditioner went out and the technician told her today that they will order the part tomorrow and it will not be here until the end of the week or possibly next week. They also said that if that did not fix it, she would need a new system that she cannot afford and would also take longer to get that installed. The house consists of foster mom, 2 adult children, 1 other adult, 3 children placed in the home through kinship and 4 children placed in the home through traditional foster care. One of the children has special needs. They do not have anywhere to stay as they stated they are the home that everyone comes to stay at. This is an emergency need due to the heat and the children being home all day. We are asking for any assistance with HVAC help/discounts or suggestions.

Bio mom is beginning overnights, but needs a hotel to give her an extra night each week until trial reunification begins. Bio mom has done fantastic during her case, and her children are ready to be home with her full-time. This would help the family continue to bond and strengthen their family unit.

Hello all, I am working with a bio mom who has two young children, 3 yrs and 7 mths. She is very close to starting trial reunification and is in need of support. She is working overtime at her job, but is struggling making the money last to the next paycheck. She reports that her current needs are help with the electricity bill and assistance with fuel for her vehicle.

A family of 5 lives with their elderly grandmother, who is a great support for them. However, the grandmother is in a wheelchair. She has an electric wheelchair and the family has a truck to transport it. However, it is too heavy to lift into the truck so she is unable to go out with them. It is making it difficult for her to get to appointments. I am requesting assistance in getting a ramp for the family to be able to get the wheelchair into the back of the truck. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
