Help Preserve a Kinship Placement
We have a family friend fostering a teen boy while raising three children of her own. Foster mom recently found out she is losing a very close family member and has had to spend a lot of time at the hospital making very tough final decisions. Between taking the kids to school, going to the hospital, and her husband being out of work due to illness and weather issues, the family is short on rent for the month. Foster child feels very safe with this family and wants to be adopted. Having an eviction will greatly affect the placement of this child. If you can help this family in a very tough time, please reach out to us. Anything helps.

I have a 12 year old child that is in a long-term treatment facility. This child does not have a foster parent due to her placement. This child is in need of comfortable clothes and shoes to have while she is inpatient. She requested sweatpants, sweatshirts and shoes with no laces. She is unable to have leggings or other tight clothing due to the rules of the facility. She wears a size 14 clothes and size 6 in shoes. The shoes would preferably be slip on type shoes with no shoelaces. Any assistance with this need would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing
I have a family that is in desperate need of help. This family consists of a single working mom and her 8-year-old son, who is receiving services through agency. Due to unsafe living conditions, mom was forced to break the lease with her previous apartment complex and move to another residence. Mom was able to cover all expenses incurred in moving, except for $490 dollars in rent that is owed to the previous complex to cover early termination of her lease. Mom is employed and had a plan that would have allowed her to be able to pay all moving expenses through wages from her employment and a bonus she was to receive from work. Mom has been able to maintain a stable home and living environment for the family and will be able to continue to do so moving forward. Because of mom missing work due to back-to-back illnesses of herself and her child, mom became ineligible for, and did not receive, the work bonus which made her unable to meet the total financial obligation of moving. The previous complex will not allow mom to arrange to pay the remaining balance over time because she is no longer living in the complex. This family would welcome and appreciate any help that can be given.

Help Make a Foster Care Placement
This a request for a new or gently used bunk bed for a traditional foster home (non-relative home). Foster family is in need of a bunk bed so they can keep placement of a foster child. This foster child has thrived in this home and it would be devastating if she would have to be moved. There are multiple children in the home, and some have been sharing a bedroom. DHS has advised bunk beds is a more ideal for their sleeping arrangements and limited space and has requested foster family get bunk beds. The foster family is on a fixed income and can't realistically afford bunk beds right now.
