Mother of child is financially unable to afford the window and door locks as well as an alarm to ensure the child can not open the windows and doors of the home.

A single father is working diligently to regain custody of his 9-month-old daughter after his wife passed away. He fully engages in all required services and makes remarkable progress toward reunification. However, he needs support to meet his daughter's basic needs. He is seeking assistance with items such as a crib, stroller, or a grocery gift card. Any financial assistance or contributions toward these needs would help him stay focused on his case and continue building a stable future for his family. DHS is holding our annual appreciation event for our Kinship, Foster, and Adoptive families on Saturday, June 28th, and are requesting a gift card to Walmart for 50-100$ in order to purchase table cloths for the event. Any help will be appreciated in order to thank these families that serve our community and the many children in need of our services.

The department who is working with a potential adoptive family for a 7 year old youth who has been in DHS custody almost 3 years. This youth has a family who is wanting to move forward with adoption in the coming months. The youth has been destroying his clothes and hiding them in the trash. Due to this the youth only has 4 sets of clothes. The family is looking for any assistance that can be provided to get this youth new clothes.

A mother is currently residing in a sober living home while she works towards getting her 16 year old son back. The mother is currently working and engaging in treatment but is asking for help paying for this month at her sober living home. The mother needs to pay $180 to the sober living home ASAP or she may get kicked out.

The father of the children was released from DOC in Wyoming and is needing a phone and phone card to connect with his team in Colorado. The father of the children is able to have video calls and is currently using a family member's phone but he needs his own. A gift card to Walmart for this caseworker to purchase the phone and phone card or the phone and phone card in hand would be great! The father is currently working full-time and going to school but is struggling with this expense due to recently taking on his daughter full-time. Assistance with this need so that this father can keep his child in home and focus on her needs and this case is greatly appreciated!

We are seeking support to help a 17-year-old male youth currently residing in a youth shelter reunite with his father out of state. Due to ongoing strife in the home, the youth is no longer permitted to return, leaving him without a stable place to live. His father has expressed a willingness to care for him and provide a safe, supportive environment, but lacks the resources to bring his son home. We are requesting assistance to cover the cost of a flight so this young man can be reunited with his father and begin the next chapter of his life in a more stable and caring setting. Your support would help make this reunification possible and offer this youth the security and connection he deserves.

Caseworker is requesting assistance to help support a newly single young mother trying to gain financial independence and support her five children (ages 6, 5, 3, 2 and 9 months). Mother is the primary caregiver for the children when home but also works full-time trying to make ends meet. Mother works very hard, but is still struggling to get the necessities that are needed when raising five growing children.
