He fully engages in all required services and makes remarkable progress toward reunification. However, he needs support to meet his daughter's basic needs. Youth is asking for a $200 Visa Gift Card to purchase groceries and summer clothing. Youth supports herself and uses the money she earns to pay her bills and save up for an apartment. Youth needs help purchasing groceries and getting weather appropriate clothing.

19 year old female that is participating in the Foster Youth in Transition Program is in need of funds in order to get a UHAUL due to Grandmother threatening to donate youths items at residence if it is not removed. Youth is in need of funds for UHAUL in order to mitigate the outcome of her belongings being given away. If this need is met it will support youth having her belongings and will learn responsibility of taking care of items.

DHS is holding our annual appreciation event for our Kinship, Foster, and Adoptive families on Saturday, June 28th, and are requesting a gift card to Walmart for 50-100$ in order to purchase table cloths for the event. Any help will be appreciated in order to thank these families that serve our community and the many children in need of our services.

SCHOOL UNIFORMS NEEDED! DHS is involved with this family due to DV between Mom and BF. Dad has stepped up to help his daughters (12,15) and meets with them on different occasions throughout the week. Dad is disabled and doing the best he can. We are asking for help with school uniforms, $200 is requested. Dad is working towards getting his daughters back and this request would help the family for next school year. Thank you so much for your consideration!! The family greatly appreciates it.

DHS is working with a family who have two children; a 3yr old son and 1yr old son. The children are in process of returning home. Mother is requesting assistance with obtaining beds for the boys to ensure they have a safe sleeping space through the transition and when they officially return home.

DHS would like to request help with purchasing two small beds for these children so they will have their own space/place to sleep and ensure they remain safe.

The department who is working with a potential adoptive family for a 7 year old youth who has been in DHS custody almost 3 years. This youth has a family who is wanting to move forward with adoption in the coming months. The youth has been destroying his clothes and hiding them in the trash. Due to this the youth only has 4 sets of clothes. The family is looking for any assistance that can be provided to get this youth new clothes.

The Department is excited to celebrate the graduation of 13 students this year!

These students have worked tirelessly to navigate the difficultly of being involved with DHS, maintaining passing grades (some with numerous placement changes throughout their high school career), and have achieved the high honor of earning a high school diploma! We are reaching out to the community and asking for any assistance with providing gift cards to these students in order to celebrate their achievements!

MOC is requesting financial assistance for her son to attend summer camp over the summer. MOC would like the youth to attend to help build his social skills and to keep him physically active over the summer. The cost to attend a week long of camp is 255$/week plus a 165$ fist time registration/supply fee. The camp is through the Adventure Club, Creative Play Centers Inc., in Colorado Springs. The tuition fees are due in advance and a two day per week minimum is required to attend. I have attached the tuition sheet to this request. This would benefit the household by allowing the youth to attend camp activities, make friends with other youth his age and keep him active and engaged over the summer.

A mother is currently residing in a sober living home while she works towards getting her 16 year old son back. The mother is currently working and engaging in treatment but is asking for help paying for this month at her sober living home. The mother needs to pay $180 to the sober living home ASAP or she may get kicked out.
