Family of 3 needing help with their reconnect fee to get their utilities back on today!

A single female took placement of a 1 month old Kinship baby in October and lost employment a little over a month later due to having to request time off due to lack of child care or when the child was sick. The kinship parent has continued to seek employment but has been unsuccessful. A request for help with $456 utility bill was submitted last month but only $100 was provided to help so now the Kinship foster parent has a utility bill total of $915.79 due 03/07/25. The only income in the home at this time is the $530 monthly maintenance payment that is having to go towards other expenses including rent and car payment. Any financial assistance to pay this bill and keep the baby in the current kinship home would be greatly appreciated.

The family recently moved into a new home and they’re lacking many furniture items. The family is currently working on reunifying with their two youngest children. The family would like assistance in getting a mattress for a toddler bed for when their youngest child comes home. The family has come a long way and they are finally settling in their new home. A mother is requesting assistance with obtaining new/appropriate tires for her car. The mom uses her car for daily transport and wants to ensure the car is safe for baby to be in. Tires are are extremely worn, and need replacing as soon as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Mother in the named KK is in trial reunification, and has been out of work due to her child being struck by a car on the way to the bus stop in the last few weeks. Mother has been caring for the child's needs but having to take off work has caused some difficulty in paying all bills timely. Mother has accessed other resources to ensure ongoing bills are paid and basic needs of the children are met, but she is needing assistance with her electric bill. Once her son's follow up surgeries are done and he has healed from that, she will be able to begin to return to work.

We are seeking immediate support for a family in critical need of propane. The household includes two parents and four children. The father is employed, but the family is currently unable to afford the $240 required to refill their propane tank. Without propane, they have no heat or hot water in their home. This situation is especially urgent as the mother is battling pneumonia, two of the children have RSV, and the other two are suffering from the flu. The ability to keep their home warm, bathe, and wash clothes is vital to their recovery and well-being.

A wonderful first-time foster family has been caring for a pair of one-year-old twins, a boy and a girl, for the past few months. Both children have gross motor delays. The little girl is still sleeping in a pack n play, as she is unable to stand on her own. Meanwhile, her brother has recently transitioned to a toddler floor bed, as he outgrew the pack n play. Unfortunately, the floor bed isn’t fully flush with the ground, leading to him falling off multiple times, often landing head-first. The family is in need of bed guards to prevent these falls. The cost of these guards typically ranges from $30-40, and this would be a huge help to ensure the boy's safety. They cannot place the mattress directly on the floor due to safety concerns.

We have been working with a single father of one girl and they are in need of a love seat and a bookshelf for the girl’s books [gently used is fine]. The father is motivated to continue improving his environment and maintaining his home to be reunified with his daughter. This is a mom who is starting over and she is living in a one bedroom. She is in need of a queen sized mattress and frame (she is a tall lady) and a small kitchen table (4 chairs), a couch, and 2 fold away cots for her 2 kids when they come by and for visiting the kids have something to sleep on.

I have a mom who reached out needing assistance in obtaining clothes and shoes for herself and 2 kids, cleaning supplies for her upcoming apartment inspection, shampoo, body wash, personal hygiene products, pads for mom, pull ups and wipes for her son who has a medical condition. Mom has a delivery job but is struggling financially due to numerous appointments for her kids who both have physical and mental health issues and so she is not able to put in the number of hours is needing.

14-year -old just moved in with dad and needs a bed. She is unable to bring her old bed from mom's house. Dad is on disability for visual impairment and can not afford a bed on his fixed income. Anything will be appreciated. A bed would help ensure a good night's sleep before school and other activities. I appreciate your help in this matter!
