A single mother, who has been experiencing homelessness for several years, is working to reunify with her 13-year-old daughter. Her greatest need is to establish safe housing, but a past-due water bill of $417.40 is preventing her getting an apartment. Any help towards paying off this debt would be greatly appreciated.

The Demand Project (TDP) exists to eradicate human trafficking, online enticement, child sexual abuse material, and the commercial sexual exploitation of children. One of the ways we do this is through our residential program for teen girls who have been victim of these crimes. We have had a trampoline on campus and just in the last couple of weeks, the springs are starting to separate from the mat making it unusable. The residents are really missing having this activity available and I am hoping someone will help meet this need for us. I have included a link to a trampoline on Amazon that is currently 20% off. Maternal grandmother is raising her almost two year old grandchild on a single income. She is in need of a new or gently used crib that could carry into a toddler bed.

An 8-year-old male has been in kinship placement with paternal aunt and her family of five since October 2024 and their expenses has increased significantly. Their electric bill has increased significantly and need help paying it. The family would appreciate any assistance so they can stay financially afloat and provide for the child.

OKDHS is working a prevention case with a family with 3 young children and an older child. The older child had been having issues of running off to friends houses and not communicating with the mother. With services in the home, the child is doing much better and is communicating well with the mother. However, as part of this mothers household bedtime routine, she does not allow screen time in the evening. This has frustrated the older child who has nothing to do before he goes to sleep. This child reported that he enjoys reading but does not have any books due to the family's financial situation. He stated that he greatly enjoys the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series. OKDHS is asking for help with providing this child several more of his favorite books to help occupy his mind this summer as he has free time after summer school. Hello, please help this family with transportation. This mother and father are struggling with their finances this month and do not have enough money for the bus to get them to and from their services. The father is currently employed by his father and going to technical school to help pay some of the bills and could use some support right now. We are asking you to please help by providing them with bus passes. They want to make sure they can attend every appointment no matter what time or location. This bus card would help make sure they can make it to visits and appointments for the remainder of the month. A nine-year-old boy recently has been placed with his aunt. He did not bring very many clothes as he has outgrown most of what he had. The aunt has requested some summer clothes but also so warmer items for him as she keeps a very cold house and he complains of being cold quite a bit. He is currently wearing size 10/12 (Medium) in tops and bottoms and his shoe size is 4 or 36 depending on the brand. He is requesting jeans, sweatpants, shorts, long socks (that don't fall off) and some t-shirts, sweatshirts The young man loves being active and enjoys spending a lot of time outside playing sports. He dreams of becoming a professional football player and devotes his free time to playing football, soccer, basketball and likes to run track because he says all these activities are helping him be a better athlete. Due to no fault of his own, he has gone through some rough stuff, but he is doing his best to adapt to his new environment and routine with a good attitude. By contributing to this clothing, you are helping him adjust to his placement and surroundings while also helping him be comfortable in his everyday activities. I am working with a kinship placement with a grandmother caring for a four year old and a one year old. Grandma is having issues getting food stamps started and qualifying for TANF. The baby has also been been advised to start regular food and has lost WIC benefits. Grandma is requesting immediate assistance with groceries and baby formula.

I am working with a kinship placement of a rapidly growing three year old boy with a healthy appetite! He is very happy being with family and may be adopted in the near future. The foster parents are requesting grocery assistance because their income has decreased due to being down to one vehicle. Although the family is "making it work" with finances and sharing a vehicle, foster Dad can only work part time until the other vehicle is fixed.
