Cleveland County Child Welfare is reaching out for your support. Our staff is currently providing around-the-clock care for several youth who require a high level of supervision and are unable to leave our office setting. This care has been ongoing for the past month, with staff remaining in the office day and night to ensure the safety and well-being of these children. Currently we have two youth in the office now planning night sleeping at the office with minimum of 1 to 2 workers included at all times.

We are in need of assistance with snacks, easy-to-prepare meals, and drinks to help sustain both our youth and dedicated staff. Our office is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and Keurig, which allows for limited food preparation. We would be incredibly grateful for a variety of items, including both healthy and fun options, to help keep everyone nourished and comforted during this time. The items they have suggested but not limited to: chips, ramen, apple sauce pouches, lunch meat, cutie oranges, corndogs, White Castle burgers, juices, powerade, bottled water, crystal light packets etc.

Any support your church can provide—whether through food donations, drinks, or meal deliveries—would be deeply appreciated by both our youth and staff.

Hello, I have a teenager that is doing well in a foster home and learning new skills and traits! Recently She learned how to mow the front yard, but ended up leaving the battery out in the rain and it is now ruined. We were hoping that someone would be willing to help replace it or if they had an extra mower laying around that would be very helpful. Thank you!

Hello all! A local foster family is in need of assistance as the foster dad has recently been laid off from his job. The foster family has been able to take care of most bills, but are struggling with the gas bill and it is at risk of shutting off. Please let me know if you can assist

Foster parent requesting Steinwhale Door Reinforcement locks for her home to prevent a 9-year-old child from going outside without permission as the child has run away recently. These locks are on Amazon. There is a three pack for $33.99. Foster parent is also requesting a 4 pack of Apple Air Tags to be able to keep track of the child in the event the child runs away again. These are on Amazon and sold in a four pack for $$74.99. Foster parent is requesting a roll away bed for the child as the child is afraid to sleep alone at times. New at Walmart for $90. Foster parent is requesting a tablet or gaming console (new/used) for the child to utilize for reward when reinforcing positive behavior. 10-inch tablet at Walmart is $50.

Please help make a foster placement! A single mom of three biological children took on two additional foster children recently. Mom is needing help with her water bill. The water bill is originally $600, but she is able to cover $200, so she's only needing help with $400. She's also needing assistance with clothing for the foster children (two children), around $300.

Grandmother just got custody of her two small grandkids. She is needing assistance with child care so she can go back to work. The summer program is asking for a $290.00 Enrollment fee that DHS does not cover.

This family consists of two girls that have been removed from their home and now are a new foster care home. The girls are planning to go to college, but the new caregiver does not have enough vehicles for each of the kids to go to college. At least one vehicle of any kind would help these kids make the most of their futures.

Hello my wonderful community! I hope all is well for everyone. I am reaching out to our helpful community for a single parent foster home. She became a single parent overnight to four sweet children that have been placed in custody. Due to the increase of children in the home, she now needs more space. Can someone help her? The foster parent loves the children so much and wants to provide a better life for the little ones. she is either looking for a home in the Norman area or needs help with the deposit to move.

Hello I am needing help with fixing up a mother's car so she is able to see her children for her visits. This would help mom out with starting Trial Reunification so she can get her kiddos back home with her. She has been having difficulties getting to different towns to see her kiddos on a regular basis because her car is not in working condition and she does not have much family to help her when needed. If someone is available to help fix this car up this will help mom get her children back home.

Mom has requested help with finding her son clothes that will fit him. He wears xxl in shirts and xxl large in pants,shorts ,ect.
