Dear community, we are reaching out to support a hardworking single mother of four who has recently lost her full-time job cleaning hotel rooms due to a drop in bookings. She is now only working two days a week and actively looking for more work. Her job search has been especially difficult due to her legal status in this country, but despite the challenges, she remains hopeful. She is not currently receiving food stamps or child support, which has made it even harder to stay afloat.

She is now short on rent for July 1st, especially after falling behind on her electricity bill. Our organization is stepping in to help with groceries, and basic needs — and we are also working to help her find additional resources. We are doing everything we can to help her and her children stay in their apartment and avoid eviction.

The mother’s heart aches with worry, pondering how much longer her little ones can endure this struggle.

Despite the overwhelming odds, she tirelessly stretches every dollar and works hard to provide for her family, yet the cost of furnishing a home for five growing children is more than she can shoulder alone. The biological mother reported experiencing financial difficulties and expressed a need for assistance with rent. A further assessment and potential referrals to community resources and financial support services may be necessary. Additionally, the home is infested with roaches and has mold present.

We have a 17-year-old male who is seeking support with his cheerleading dues. Recently returned to his biological mother’s care, he finds that she is unable to afford the expenses associated with his passion for cheerleading.

Typically, the annual costs for high school cheerleading dues range from $500 to $1,500, encompassing various essential elements such as:

A single mother who is in between jobs currently and has very little money to get groceries and put gas in her car for the next week to make it to job interviews. This mom is requesting assistance with getting a grocery gift card and a gas card.

We are having our annual back-to-school event - July 26th, 2025 This event services our foster children and our community families' children who maybe less fortunate. Our goal is to give out 1,000 book bags filled with the necessary school supplies to meet our foster children and community children well-being needs.

In reaching our goal this will help children prepare for school and release the burden of not having their school supplies to assist them in getting a great education.

We are in need of school supplies for elementary, middle and high schoolers. Pens, Pencils, calculators, crayons, coloring pencils, erasers, pencil holders, notebook paper, ABC Tracing Books, highlighters, composition tablets, 3 & 5 subject notebooks, scissors, glue. An assortment of all school supplies we need. Any assistance we are most grateful.

The agency is supporting a wonderful family of five, which includes three spirited boys aged 1, 5, and 6, along with a precious 4-year-old girl who is medically fragile. This loving family is in urgent need of gently used or new clothing for both the children and their devoted mother. Your kindness and generosity can make a meaningful difference in their lives!

Currently a mother and her three children are homeless. The mother just lost her job recently and got evicted today. The mother does not have transportation, and the children have not had anything to eat. The family has tried reaching out to multiple food banks to assist but have been unsuccessful.

The client is a 62-year-old grandmother who has taken full-time care of her two young grandchildren, ages 1 and 6. She became their primary caregiver after their mother faced a series of hardships, including escaping a domestic violence situation. Despite these challenges, the client has stepped in to provide safety and stability for the children. She is currently employed but struggling to make ends meet. The family resides in a single-room rental unit while she works to improve their situation. The client has applied for public assistance but has been denied and is now working with local community agencies to help meet the children’s basic needs. One of her most urgent challenges is transportation. Although she has a vehicle, it is in need of repairs. Right now, she cannot afford both rent and the necessary work to keep her car running. Without a reliable vehicle, she risks losing her job—her only source of income—and compromising her ability to care for her grandchildren. The client is seeking assistance with rental support so she can allocate resources toward vehicle repairs. Doing so would allow her to maintain employment, ensure the family’s stability, and continue providing for her grandchildren. Any support toward helping the client and her grandchildren stay housed and secure reliable transportation would be deeply appreciated.

Prior to this referral, the family has been moving from hotel to hotel but right now they are currently living in a home that is very appropriate for the family. The children's grandmother has applied for food stamps but still has not gotten any food for her two teenage grandchildren. Grandmother does have a job but will not be paid for another week. Also, the family does not have the means to travel to any food banks in the area due to neither the grandmother or father has a car. the family is in need of food while they wait for their food stamps case is approved.
