A courageous mother of three teenagers recently left a domestic violence situation and is working hard to rebuild a safe and stable home for her family. She has taken the brave step to start over, but currently, she lacks the resources to secure her living space properly.

To help ensure the physical and emotional safety of her and her children, she is in urgent need of three (3) door locks for their current residence. These locks will provide much-needed security and peace of mind as they begin this new chapter in their lives.

This practical support will be a powerful reminder that they are not alone and that their community stands with them.

Need: 3 interior/exterior door locks (deadbolts or knob sets with locks, depending on door type)

Two sweet brothers who are five and six have recently been placed into state custody. Like most active boys, they have endless energy and love to run around, rough house and climb everything. They love playing sports and are always on the go at top speed. Also like most little boys these two are quickly outgrowing their clothes and need bigger sizes. Foster mom reports they need shirts, pants, underwear and shoes, as they did not come with very many clothes. The boys are in sizes five and six and shoe sizes 11/12 and 12/1. By fulfilling this request, you will help keep the boys comfortable as they play and grow and help reduce some financial stress for the Foster Mom. This request is for a 16 year old boy in an unpaid kinship placement. Before the teenager was in their care, he had some behavioral issues, but since living in this loving and supportive home, he has been thriving and has not had any behavioral issues. He is on the football team and recently got a job to start saving up for a car. Because both of his foster parents work and he doesn't have a car yet, it would help the family greatly to have a bike so he can get around independently. Because the foster parents to not receive monthly payments, they are grateful for any support they can get from the community. This family would appreciate your support!

A family is needing help with clothing, shoes, and toys for a girl age 9 turning 10, and toddler age 22 months, and boy 14. 9 year old girl wears size 7/8 girls clothes, and size 4 shoes; she requested no lacy edges on any undies for her if possible and no boy-short style. 22 month old toddler wears size 18 months and 24 months in clothes and size 6 toddler shoes. 14 year old boy wears size 14/16 in older boys clothes and shoes 9.5 in shoes. The family is starting over and does not have more than a couple outfits for each kid and are needing more clothing and some shoes and toys as they get established again. This will help relieve some stress of trying to keep them in clean clothing when they have so little. Thank you in advance for helping this family as they start over get established again!

Immediate need for transportation of 16 year old youth to basketball practice for the summer as he recently was placed in a foster home that has conflicts with foster parent's work schedule. Foster parent is requesting assistance for transport via a LYFT card to facilitate the youth retaining existing relationships with coach and teammates for his well being. It is about a 30 minute ride. He has practice 5 days a week. It would be approximately $120 a week/$24 a day during the summer months. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’m reaching out with an urgent request to support a mother who is working hard to rebuild her life. After successfully getting back on her feet and maintaining sobriety, she recently encountered a major setback—she lost her job unexpectedly. She is actively seeking new employment and applying to several opportunities, but her rent for her sober living program is due this Friday, June 13th, and she is currently unable to cover the cost. Without assistance, she risks losing the stable and supportive housing that has been a critical part of her recovery journey. We are asking for any financial support you may be able to provide to help her cover this rent payment and stay on the path she’s worked so hard to stay on.

Aunt and Uncle recently took placement of their 3 nephews, ages 8, 7, and 4. This family is currently borrowing booster seats for the two youngest children but will need to obtain their own. This family just took placement on 06/06 so they will not be receiving any financial assistance for at least 2 weeks and would greatly appreciate help with the car seats so that they can focus on purchasing food, clothing, and other items needed. The family is needing a Highback Booster car seat for the 4 year old and a Backless booster seat for the 7 year old.

A hardworking father has made lots of progress toward reunifying with his three children, which are currently in his care and they are so close to being officially reunified with the case successfully closed. The father unfortunately lost his employment was able to quickly find new employment but is in need of some tools to begin his new opportunity. The father needs a screw gun, hammer, speed square, torpedo level, box knife, and tape measure. This parent has overcome numerous barriers and has almost reached the point of full self sufficiency for his family. Please help him overcome this new barrier with helping him to obtain some tools for his new job. The three children have also begun child care now that school is out, and there are activities at the child care center that require an extra fee of $20 per child to participate in activities at their child care.
