A single mother, who has been experiencing homelessness for several years, is working to reunify with her 13-year-old daughter. Her greatest need is to establish safe housing, but a past-due water bill of $417.40 is preventing her getting an apartment. Any help towards paying off this debt would be greatly appreciated.

An expectant mother in trial reunification with her 2 toddlers, a 3-year-old girl and 2-year-old boy, just started a new job and would greatly appreciate a gas card to get her and the kids to daycare, work shifts, appointments, and meetings.

This is an unapproved relative kinship placement. A 6m old has been placed with his aunt and is in need of a couple things to help preserve the placement. The family is needing a crib, crib mattress, dressers for storage of kids clothes, and a baby gate. Anything that can be provided will help!

A mom is leaving a long-term relationship featuring domestic violence needs a bus pass to attend services and court. She's a loving mom and making lots of steps early in the case to correct the conditions and make it safe for her baby to return to her care. She is doing well in services and is maintaining her safety as best she can.

Hello! I have a set of parents in need of 2 bus passes to get to job interviews, their family time with their daughter, and to meet with their service providers. They had to move in with some friends and now they are farther away from everything they need to get to. This would be a tremendous help, especially to get to see their little girl.

Child's father and caretaker recently passes away and the 12 year old is currently in a kinship home with her paternal aunt and her family of 8! The 12 year old has moved into her 15 yr old cousin's bedroom and things are tight. She has no closet, dresser or bed. This situation is likely turn permanent in the form of adoption. This 12 year old has been through a lot and we hope to give her some of her own things in her new home. Thank you!

A very sweet, 11-year-old autistic child is in DHS custody. When this child is anxious, she calms herself down by rocking front and back. Often her rocking is strong enough that she will her head against the wall, the back of the chair, or whatever else she is sitting near. Out of concern for this child's wellbeing, the placement providers have requested a gaming floor chair that rocks and doesn't have hard surfaces. Their hope is that this child will be able to rock safely, without hitting her head, and still be able to calm herself down.

Maternal grandmother is raising her almost two year old grandchild on a single income. She is in need of a new or gently used crib that could carry into a toddler bed.

We are requesting assistance for a grandmother who is currently the primary caregiver for both her grandchildren and great grandchild. Despite working full-time, she is having some troubles with her financial obligations. The grandmother is not receiving any financial support to care for the children. To help ease some of this burden, we would like to assist her with her utility bill. Thank you.

There are two kids that have been unexpectedly placed with a kinship placement. They both are needing clothing at this time due to the unexpected placement, they do not have clothing right now and the kinship family is unable to afford any at the time. Clothes are needed in girls size 10-12 and she needs shirts, shorts, pants, underwear and bras, socks and with pajamas. Clothes are also needed in boys size 8-10 and he needs shirts, shorts, pants, underwear, socks and pajamas.

Two loving brothers have come into care and a wonderful young family who already have three kiddos have taken them in. They are in need of a little help with beds, and a dresser. The brothers are very sweet and are fitting right in. The family could use a bunkbed/with mattresses/pillows/bedding, if possible, and one dresser. As always, gently used furniture is welcome. We greatly appreciate your kindness, and the way you care for our families.

A single parent mother of two is needing assistance with the getting her vehicle repaired. The total estimated cost to repair the vehicle is $1600. However, the mother is asking for any assistance that can be given in the amount of $800 as she has already raised half the amount.
