Her greatest need is to establish safe housing, but a past-due water bill of $417.40 is preventing her getting an apartment. Any help towards paying off this debt would be greatly appreciated.

While she is making steps to create a stable home for herself and her children, she is not able to afford a bed at this time for herself nor her other children. At this time she is in need of a full/queen bed for herself and a toddler bed. I know that if she can receive assistance with these items she would be grateful, and it will assist her in getting a step closer to stability.

Hello, I’m reaching out on behalf of a single mother who is currently facing a very difficult situation. Recently, there was a flood in her apartment, and unfortunately, both of her children’s mattresses were severely damaged and are no longer usable.

She is doing everything she can to provide for her family, but as a single mom, finances are already stretched thin—and replacing two twin-size mattresses simply isn't something she can afford right now.

Her children, who are both still quite young, need a safe and comfortable place to sleep. If anyone is able to donate new or gently used twin mattresses, or contribute in any way toward helping her replace them, it would make a world of difference to this family.

Please help a grandmother who has taken in 3 of her grandchildren. The grandmother is also raising two other grandchildren. Now caring for all five children on her own, this grandmother is doing everything she can to provide them with a safe, stable, and nurturing home. She is retired and living on a fixed income, with no financial assistance to support the growing needs of her family. This is an unapproved relative kinship placement. A 6m old has been placed with his aunt and is in need of a couple things to help preserve the placement. The family is needing a crib, crib mattress, dressers for storage of kids clothes, and a baby gate. Anything that can be provided will help!

Dad reports he lost the bedding he had when he lost housing last year. He can't afford the mattresses at this time due to working on paying fines and having a garnishment on his paycheck. These 3 children will benefit greatly by resting more comfortable in their own bed.

A dad who is working towards engaging in his services is needing assistance in obtaining a bus pass as he does not have any means of transport. We have a foster teen who is 18 years old she has not had the opportunity to attend a camp before. The teen has the opportunity to go to Church Camp with others in her placement and the department would like to send her to a camp to experience.

Jaclyn is a single mom with 3 children in the home. Jaclyn currently does not have a job, and it has become increasingly difficult for her to find a job and get to and from places with a car that has two flat tires. Jaclyn would greatly benefit from having 2 new tires on her vehicle, so she can obtain employment easier and will be able to provide transportation for herself and her children.
The size of the tires are: 225 65/17 and they run about $75 per tire.
