A resilient young mother is currently facing a difficult chapter. With a 6-month-old baby and a nearly 6-year-old daughter depending on her, she recently suffered a serious foot injury after a fall. This injury has left her unable to work and severely limited her ability to travel or access resources.

Despite her strength and determination, the strain of caring for two young children without income or reliable mobility is immense. Her family urgently needs support: summer clothing for both daughters (size 6 mo. and larger, size 6 and up for the older daughter who likes pink), These basic needs are critical to ensuring the health, comfort, and dignity of her children during this vulnerable time.

This is family has a mom, older daughter, and 3 young boys. The father was living with them but has been abusive towards the mother. He has been very physical with the mother causing black eyes, broken ribs, and a brain hemorrhage. He has threatened to kill her. The mother finally got the courage to report her husband and there is a warrant for his arrest. The children have not been physically harmed but are emotionally damaged. During the last incident where the mother was knocked unconscious, the father broke the windshield of a neighbor's car in a jealous rage, and the neighbor is asking for restoration. The family needs support to pay this bill and to help with having their locks changed. Gift cards for food to help curtail expenses since the father's contribution to the family's expenses cannot be relied upon.

We are requesting support for a resilient and hardworking family who has just moved into their very first apartment. This marks a new beginning after a period of instability, and we hope to help them furnish their new space with the essentials that will make it feel like home.

The family includes a dedicated mother who works part-time and is a huge, integral part of our school community—always giving her time and energy to support students and staff alike. Her child, a student at our school, has an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and has already undergone three or more surgical procedures since birth. Despite these challenges, the family continues to show strength, grace, and a deep commitment to growth. Student is male and will turn 15 this year. Providing family with the following items will allow the student to remain in our school community. While the family does have the keys and access to the apartment, they have not been able to move in fully because they don't have beds.

They are in need of clothes, food, hygiene and household items. They are currently looking for a 3 bedroom apartment in Staten Island and have a voucher to use towards rent. This young mom is currently in a Harlem DV shelter and is trying her best to make ends meet while she searches for a new job. She is requesting Groceries, cleaning supplies, and new underwear for her 3 year old son. These things are just to make sure her son stays clean and healthy.

The rules of her shelter state that she may give her address if, and only if, the items will be delivered by a delivery company (Amazon, FedEx etc). If any team or church member plans to meet her personally, they will have to meet her at a nearby address.
