Elderly adoptive mother of an 11-year-old, nonverbal, autistic child is seeking needed items. The child was adopted by his mother’s stepsister due to her being on drugs and not being able to properly care for the child. The father is unknown. The adoptive mom is in her 60s and has recently moved to Georgia to have more help with her son from her family. The family is requesting 2 beds (mattress and frame), size 14/medium clothes for a boy, and resources to pay for summer camp for a special needs child.

This caregiver has opened his home to three, small children. To maintain approval of this placement, he is seeking financial assistance to repair the leak in his ceiling. He would be appreciative of any help to create a safe and livable environment for this children.

We have a family of 7 that is in need of a refrigerator. The family has been without a refrigerator for several months now. The mother is on a fixed income and has not had the available funds to buy one for her family.

We have a family with 2 children in need of groceries. These kids have just gone into a new fictive kin placement and is the best fit for these kids, but since they are not technically a foster home just yet, they are not getting any supplement and are asking for $300 worth of groceries till they can get a supplement going. A family of 10 (9 kids and 1 adult) is currently residing in a three-bedroom home. There are three children in each room with limited space. The Department is requesting 1 bunk bed (top twin and bottom full) so that adequate sleeping arrangements can be made for the children. Currently, the children are sharing beds and/or futon sofas. The assigned case manager anticipates finding mattresses for the children if anyone can assist with bed frames/bunk beds.
