This donation, would support a single mother with one child who was homeless. The mother and child recently moved in with a relative but they are in need of some items to help stabilize them. Due to previous homelessness, they are in need of some clothing, gas card to support transportation and in an effort to keep there belongings, they have a past due storage fee in the amount of $17.00. The child's sizes are as follows: shirt (children's) XL, pants (children's) 1, (10-12), or 12-14; shoes sz. 5/ Adult woman 2X shirts

A foster parent accepted emergency placement of two children, ages 10 and 12. The foster home was not set up for children this age, so the family does not have appropriate beds for the children. The family is requesting assistance with obtaining two twin sized beds (not bunks) and bedding. The 10 year old is female and the 12 year old is male. This will allow the foster parent to maintain placement of the two children.

The child is currently living with a relative while the mother addresses identified needs to provide a safe environment for the child. The relative although willing to provide care does not have the financial means to provide the child with clothing items to support her throughout the summer. The mother is not in a financial position to assist at this time. The child has outgrown her clothing and is in need of shirts, shorts, pants and shoes. The child's current size is 6x-7 in shirts, pants and shoe size 12-13.

Family in need of a lock box big enough to hold around 38 different medications under lock and key. Some of the bottles are large.

Still in need

The Department is working with a single mother and her four boys, ages 10, 8, 5, 1 due to concerns for injurious environment. Mother is currently out of work and is in need of assistance with furniture. The family is need of a kitchen table (seats 6) due to their old table breaking. The mother is in need of a queen bedframe/box spring. Any assitance is greatly appreciated.

Due to an unforeseen situation, three teenage boys (13, 14, and 16) are in the custody of DSS, since 7/31/2023. The boys are planning to be placed with their paternal aunt, this week. To make the placement, the maternal aunt is in need of two twin beds/bedding to accommodate the youngest two children.

The Department is involved with a single mother and her four children: 3 and 4 year old girls, 2 year old boy and 4 month girl. The father is not involved and there is a history of domestic violence. The mother is unemployed. The mother does not have beds or furniture in the home. The children are sleeping on air mattresses and mother and 4 month old are sleeping on the couch. This family would benefit from 2 toddler beds, a crib, a twin bed and a full or queen size bed for the mother. They are also in need of sheets, covers, and pillows. The family would also benefit from having dressers, and a kitchen table. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

The Department is working with a Mother, and her 3 children due to neglect. Mother and children are homeless, and are staying in a hotel on temporary basis; struggling financially. Mother has to provide transportation for 2 children to different schools, mother would like assistance in requesting gas cards for school transportation. Mother would also like assistance in obtaining diapers size 7, and wipes for 2 yr. old child. Thank you for your help and consideration today.

The Department became involved with the family due to physical abuse and injurious environment. The family has 3 daughters who are in need of twin size bedframes and mattresses. Ages are: 8, 14 and 16.
