Youth joined a small group through the youth program at the church and they communicate via phone. So at this time, he isn't able to fully participate in the church support group.

We have a family that is close to being able to reunify. The father obtain more spacious housing for himself and his child. He is a hardworking dad, and his son, 6 years old, needs a bed. He's sleeping on a pull-out couch, and could benefit from a bed. The father has reached out to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, but was told that they don't have any available builders in his area. This child could benefit from a twin or full-sized bed frame, box springs, and mattress. Also bedding and sheets. He loves cammo, hunting and fishing.

We are seeking assistance for a family who's vehicle recently had major issues and they are unable to get around. Both of the parents are working diligently to better themselves and have been doing amazing in their substance abuse programs. The parents are struggling to get to all of their required services for themselves and the children due to not having assess to the vehicle. After an estimate it will be $500 for the vehicle to be fixed. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

We have a single, employed, hardworking father who is very close to reunifying with his 6 year old son. He has just secured new housing in Gainesville, but is missing a permanent bed for his son for overnight visits and beyond. He would very much appreciate some help getting a twin-sized bed and bedding.

In the meantime, this child is sleeping on the couch.

We have a 19yo who signed herself back into foster care. She is currently in the Decatur area and is in need of help purchasing a 30 day bus ticket so she can start getting to her new job.

Hi! We need your help! Our family accepted a teen female as an emergency prudent parenting resource for a weekend. The child needed clothing as she did not come with anything in her size. Our foster family spent $220 to best take care of these needs so that she would be set up for success ongoing in the midst of her trauma. We are looking for someone to reimburse the foster family for this cost of care with gift cards. Thank you!

A 10-year-old girl recently arrived from another country and has never attended school. She’s enrolled in English tutoring this summer through the Bright Boy Foundation, a nonprofit that supports children and advocates for safe, bully-free learning environments. We have a single father who recently moved into a bigger place in Gainesville so that he can reunify with his son. He was approved to start overnight visits, but needs a bed and appropriate bedding for these overnights to begin. This father works full-time and is gainfully employed. He has all of his funds tied up in the housing/move expenses. This father's first visit will be on 6/6/2025. A used twin bed, box spring, and frame is also needed in addition to the bedding. She has been sober for almost a year now and doing amazing. But, she has limited income. After paying her bills she has little money leftover. A top need for the mother at this time is a crib for her one year old to have a nice place to sleep. A crib is an essential item that she simply cannot afford. We believe every baby deserves a safe and comfortable place to sleep. Your generosity can make a world of difference in their lives.
