A newborn is being placed with relatives who are having a difficult time gathering all needed items. They are asking for assistance specifically for a crib.

After years of working on her sobriety and maintaining a sober lifestyle, a mother and son have the opportunity to reunify! The youth has worked his treatment plan and the mother has continued to maintain a healthy and positive lifestyle to provide for her child. Home passes are beginning this Friday (6/27), but the mother will be making the drive to & from East TN to make this happen. After a couple successful home passes, we will return to court to ask for a trial home visit to begin. Any help with gas would be greatly appreciated by this family.

I have added two requested for cards to this submission. One gas card will be needed for this weekend, June 27th. A second card will be needed for the weekend of July 11th.

Hello Care Portal Family and Supports! I have a family who is needing help with getting a washer and dryer for their home. This is a young family with two kids of their own (4yrs old and 8 months old), one on the way, and a teenager who was in Custody that they took in when they didn't have to. This family is trying to get a washer and dryer so they can spend less time and money at the laundromat and more time at home raising their young children and the teenager they took in. This family is spending several hours a week at the laundromat due to the amount of clothes they go through with their family and not being able to save their money that they were trying to save for a washer and dryer after taking in the teenage boy. Would somebody be willing to help this family?

A single mother who is currently unemployed and caring full-time for her two children is in urgent need of assistance. One of her children is an infant, and the older child has been diagnosed with non-verbal autism. Due to her full-time caregiving responsibilities, she is unable to work and is struggling to meet basic household needs.

Immediate Needs:

Infant summer clothing (Size 3–6 months) Air mattress (for safe sleeping arrangements)

JJ caseworker is working with a family who just lost their job. The father is looking for employment and in the meantime trying to keep the family stable and together. A 1 time pay on their electric bill would take a lot of pressure off of them and help them so much this month. The amount is $180.43 and it can be paid to CPWS. Resource Linkage is working with a single mother who just started a new job and moved into a 4 bedroom home. She is about to start a trial home visit with her 5 children. Due to the mother being a single parent and starting a new job, she is needing help obtaining a few things for her and her family in order to make this a successful trial home visit. The mother is needing 2 twin mattresses, 2 twin bedframes and bedding to go with it , 1 for a girl and 1 for a boy. She is needing a couch and some cookware. The mother could use some plastic sets of plates/silverware for her younger children if possible. Any help for this mom is greatly appreciated!

Help a Determined Young Woman Create Her First Home

At just 19 years old, this resilient young woman is stepping into a new chapter of her life. Having recently aged out of foster care, she’s worked tirelessly to maintain steady employment at a local childcare facility—a job she’s held with dedication for several years. Now, she’s preparing to take a big leap: moving out of government-subsidized housing and into her very first apartment, where she can finally experience the independence she’s been working so hard for.

While she’s overcome many obstacles to reach this point, she faces the challenge of moving into an unfurnished space. Without the resources to collect furniture over the years, her new home will be empty—missing the comforts and warmth that make a space truly feel like your own.

We would love to help her start this new chapter with dignity and pride by furnishing her living room. We are seeking donations of new or gently used items such as a: -Sofa/LoveSeat -coffee table -TV/ TV stand -Floor Lamp

(Decorative items are also welcome and will be considered based on available space.)

Ideally, donated items can be delivered directly to her new home, and we’re happy to assist with coordinating logistics. Let’s help her step into adulthood not just with four walls, but with a place she can truly call home.

Child has been granted to move back with mother sooner than expected. Grandparents are apprehensive about sending child's belongings with him as normally happens.

Mother has a queen size mattress but needs a frame, a dresser for mom and kid (4 years old), toy box, area rugs, size 4T boy cloths, and household organization bins.

Mother has worked so hard on her program to get to this point.

I am currently working with a caretaker who has 2 children, and she now has custody of 3 relatives. The caretaker is no longer receiving family first and her next WIC appointment is scheduled in a few days. The caretaker is working with the Relative Caregiver Program, but she has not received a payment from them. There is a 2-month-old infant who needs formula. The caretaker has asked the parents to assist with the formula, but they cannot at this time. The caretaker cannot afford to purchase the formula and needs assistance. The baby needs Similac Advance Powder Formula.

I have a hard-working mother who needs formula for her son. Her son is a very happy baby and has just started eating baby food as well as drinking formula. The mother needs help paying for formula for her son. The baby uses Similac Sensitive Formula. The family would appreciate any help!

We have a family with a 4-year-old child with autism. This kiddo needs an AAC communication device to continue their efforts of communicating. The family is low income and unable to access this device independently. The child's speech therapist requested that the family obtain this device. TN care denied coverage for the device. Any and all assistance with this item is greatly appreciated.

Mother is a single mother of 4 children: ages 11, 9, 6, and 3. Mother is providing housing, utilities, and food for the children but has not been able to furnish their new apartment. The family has one air mattress which has a hole in it and the family members have no beds to sleep on.
