Male Youth (age 14) is currently on probation and will be exiting detention in July to reside with his mother. Youth will live in a single parent household with two siblings. Youth needs of a twin-size bed (twin-size bed frame, box spring and twin mattresses). Mother recently found a job and is struggling on a fixed income to make ends meet after paying bills. The mother does not have the financial means to provide a bed for the youth. Having a comfortable bed to sleep on is vital for overall welfare for youth and will help increase his chances of successfully completing probation.

The Department is working to reunify two young children with their birth parents. The birth parents need to engage in services and communicate with the Department. The parents phones have broken and they are unable to use them. The parents had been going to the public library to use email and going to a relative's home to use their phone. The parents are now having transportation issues and a phone of their own would help them to complete services. A phone for each parent or one phone for the parents to share would be helpful.

Local family living in mobile housing needs help replacing a generator to keep cool in the heat of summer, and to power important medical devices. One of the adults in the home and the child rely on electricity to meet some health needs and have been without power for some time. The family also has mobility issues, and will need a generator that can be moved with ease.

Caregiver had a major seizure and has chipped both front two teeth. She does not have dental insurance at this time, and I'd love to be able to help her get this fixed. She is a young mom with two children under three and a placement to her niece who is 15.

I have a 15 year old girl with dyslexia who could really use some additional dyselxia support over the summer. If anyone is available to offering some in person tutoring dyselxic specific support or willing to help fund dyslexic summer tutoring, that would be appreciated. The school does not offer any summer support at this time.

Mom and teen have secured housing for the first time ever several months ago! Teen is a trafficking survivor and mom is living for the first time in recovery. They are striving to be connected to a local church community and are excited for this to be a turning point in their lives. Unfortunately Mom is struggling with complications from a chronic illness and is unable to maintain employment at this time. Any help with rental assistance so that they can maintain their home is SO helpful!!

Youth recently entered CPS care from Travis County and are placed in an emergency shelter in El Paso, TX. It is a sibling group ages 1, 2 and 4. Mother is based in Travis county with no transportation or means to visit youth in El Paso. All youth are non-verbal and significantly developmentally delayed. It is very difficult, based on age and developmental level the depth of trauma caused by separation from mother. We are working to bring the youth closer to Travis county however in the interim we are seeking assistance to facilitate weekly, or bi-weekly, visits for mom with her 3 children using greyhound bus service.

The family is a mother and father of 4 children, and they have falling on hard times and need some help with their rent. Both parents work but they do not make enough to stay afloat. Their rent is $ 1310 and for this month, they have paid $586.45 and is in need of $767.55 to complete the month of June. This family has a child that is diabetic and has to pay a portion of her medication. Mom and dad stated if they can get some help for this month, they will be able to maintain.
