A hardworking couple in our community is raising six children—two older and four still living at home. Their washing machine recently broke, and they’ve been washing clothes by hand or taking loads to the laundromat, which is time-consuming and costly. Providing a quality used washer and some laundry detergent would make a big difference in their daily life and help this family focus on what matters most—caring for their kids. Let’s come together to lighten their load, one wash at a time.

A dedicated mother and her husband, a disabled veteran, are working hard to raise their 5-year-old daughter. The family’s refrigerator was on its last leg and unfortunately stopped working today. Thankfully, they were able to find a mini fridge to temporarily save some of the food, but it is not a long-term solution. They are in need of a working refrigerator to store their food safely. Additionally, they would greatly appreciate a bookshelf to support their daughter’s homeschooling, as the mother is currently teaching her at home.

She has just moved into her own home and is doing everything she can to provide a safe and stable environment for her family. Thanks to community support, beds have been provided, but the family is still in need of bedding—sheets, pillows, blankets, and comforters—to ensure each child, and their mother, has a comfortable place to rest.

A courageous and hardworking mother recently achieved reunification with all five of her children after a long journey. She has just moved into her own place and is doing her best to provide a safe, stable environment—but she needs our help. Currently, mom is sleeping on the couch, and although she has a bunk bed frame, it has no mattresses for two of the children. Another child needs a twin bed. Additionally, her youngest child needs a car seat to ensure safe transportation.

This mother and her 8-year-old child just recently moved into their low-income housing in Marion County. Due to the recent move and low income, mom is still in need of some furniture for her residence. The mother graciously requests a small couch (3-seater), due to the small living room space. In addition, the daughter needs a dresser, and the mother needs her own dresser for their bedrooms.

The grandmother has taken custody of her three grand babies. One boy age 1 and two girls ages 3 & 4. The two older children (ages three and four) sleep on two air mattresses that do not hold air very well. Helping this grandmother with beds will help save this placement and keep the siblings together. She also needs a narrow cloth/cube design dresser, but the room is very small.

Grandma has taken a short leave of absence from work to care for the children. Your assistance with beds would greatly be appreciated.

Mom is in the process of moving out of transitional living and into her own place. She just moved into her new apartment May 9th. She has absolutely nothing except for her and children’s clothing and toys. She was forced to start completely over when she left an unsafe relationship. She moved into a 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment. She needs your help with one crib frame & mattress for the 1-year-old little boy. One toddler bed frame and mattress for a 3-year-old little boy. One bunk bed frame and mattresses are needed for two boys ages 8 & 12. One twin bed frame and mattress is needed for a 9-year-old girl.
