One of our foster children is preparing to reunify with her biological mother in the coming weeks. The family has made significant progress toward their case plan goals and is now in the final stages before reunification is complete. The mother has already purchased a bed frame, and the department has been able to assist with several other household items. At this time, the family is in need of a full-size mattress to complete the child’s bedroom setup. This final support would help ensure a smooth and comfortable transition as the child returns home and the family begins this new chapter together.

A single Mom with three daughters under the age of 5 is in need of two car seats. The 2-year-old needs a forward-facing 5-point harness seat, and the 4-year-old would benefit from a 2-in-1 convertible car seat that can be used with the harness or as a booster as she grows. These car seats would aid in the family being able to get to places such as medical appointments and the grocery store.

A single mother of a 1 year old male is requesting assistance with childproofing her home. The child is now walking and is becoming more curious about opening doors and cabinets. The mother is currently doing an unpaid career training program and would appreciate the assistance to make her home safer for him! We are requesting door knob covers, cabinet locks, and outlet covers.

The children (4 girls) were removed due to substance abuse and inadequate housing. Since being in care the parents have maintained visitations with the girls and have worked on their sobriety and housing issues. Both parents have remained clean for over 12 months. The patents and a younger son have lived in a hotel room for the majority of the case. The family has recently moved into a 3 bedroom apartment. The parents were also granted a trial home placement earlier this year with the girls now that there is adequate housing for all of the children. Both parents are employed and are working hard to fully furnish the apartment. With 5 children in the home ranging in ages from 1 - 12, the family needs a dining room table for meal time and possible homework space. The apartment has a washer dryer connection. It would be great if the family could get a washer and dryer. This would save the family the time and money of going to the laundromat to do the laundry for a family of 7

single mom of 3 school age kids. Mom has currently maintained a job and found appropriate housing for her kids. Mom is in the process of reunifying with her children and need a little bit of assistance. Mom's old home did not fit all three children and so she saved, and used her savings to rent a bigger home that will accommodate the families needs. Mom's job will hold a week of pay and she just needs assistance with first months rent because she covered the security deposit of the new place and last months rent of the previous place. A single mom of two younger children and a one older child is in need of help. She is needing two toddler beds and mattress and one twin bed with a mattress.
