Story
A youth with DCFS involvement in his life ranging from 2010 until now as a non-minor dependent. Youth was raised by his mother, until she passed away in 2013. and he was detained from his father, and was in foster homes since 2014. He also experienced separation with his siblings, even though he maintained sporadic contact with an older brother. He is now living in a transitional housing program and is working on employent and school options. He is interested in learning a trade such as HVAC. and he will soon be living on his own, starting at ground zero by himself. Since public transportation is unreliable and since he does not live nearby restaurants or grocery stores, has no family support and must do a lot of everyday tasks on his own. An electric scooter will assist with maximizing time, and help him save money and time for his long term goals. Attached is a link of an example of the item needed. Go To Link
