We have a foster parent that takes in teen children with challenging behaviors to help provide a stable home. In January 2024 an incident occurred in the kitchen. While a foster child was cooking a fire resulted in the kitchen of the home. As a result of this, the foster parent was forced to move into a temporary home with her foster placements, while the home was being repaired. As a result of the fire, she lost numerous items (personal items, furniture, etc.) including beds for the foster children. She is now in the process of moving back into her home. She is ready to continue taking placements but needs beds (two twin beds, or a bunk bed with mattresses). On top of always being ready for teen placements, she is always available to assist other foster parents by watching children during the day if they did not have a school set up or were not able to go to school. Any assistance for this foster parent is greatly appreciated.
