I am working with a single mom with a 2-year-old boy. This mom does work full time but is having a hard time affording the items needed to help make their home safer. She does not have a vacuum cleaner for their floor, and she desperately needs one. She has no window coverings at all in her home. She has some blankets, but she hangs those on the laundry room door to prevent the cold air from coming through to the rest of the home. Her landlord is not helpful at all, but this home is all she can afford at this time. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Used curtains would be perfectly ok as well. Thank you.

I am a deacon from the Presbyterian Church group. We will help with this request. We would like to know the size and number of windows that need curtains. Is there a particular color. We will purchase a vacuum cleaner. Another concern is if she lives in low income housing with the tile floors, will she need an area rug? Are blankets needed? Please contact me at(###) ###-####.
