Currently working with a 5-year-old who is in the care of a kinship placement. This child has special needs (sensory issues, high level of trauma, developmental delay) and has a variety of self-regulation tools he uses at school which seem to support him. Behaviors at home during periods of dysregulation are significant and placement needs support. We would like to mirror tools used at school to be at home. Placement is NOT paid and resources are limited. I am seeking support in sensory and self-regulation tools to support this child and preserve placement.
