Single mother of 2 children has found herself on hard times and needs assistance for her children. She lost her job and has been struggling to find one during this brutal winter to sustain herself and her 2 school age children. She has been struggling to keep food on the table, bills paid, and clothes on their backs. With the little money she has, she needs to sometimes make difficult decisions regarding keeping her family together. At this time the children needed clothing to combat this brutal winter that Florida has endured these last few weeks. Those decisions created a dilemma for the children because they were unable to receive the new clothes for school they needed. They have outgrown their clothes and needed new ones to attend school in the weather that we were having. The children have not been able to attend school regularly without coats and clothes to combat the weather. We are requesting assistance with clothing for these children so the mother can continue to keep the children in school, their home, lights on, and food on the table.
