Grandmother is currently caring for her grandchildren after her daughter’s incarceration, and she currently has custody of the children. As she works to provide a stable environment for them, she is facing financial difficulties and is unable to afford the necessary toddler beds. Due to missing work in order to care for the children, her ability to provide these basic needs has been significantly impacted.

The grandmother of this family let me know that the twin bed will not fit in the space she needs it, so we were not able to meet this request.

St. Peter's now has a mattress, box springs and bedding set to go with the bed frame that we have already responded with. The Women's Lion Club purchased a box springs and Zavala's furniture donated a mattress. St. Peter's will provide a Walmart card to be used for a bedding set. I have contacted the grandmother with the information that the Children's Coalition provided but I have not heard back from her. Please email me the contact information so that I can check that I have the right information.
