Single unemployed mother currently seeking employment, she is residing in Brooklyn with two children. You only served one child and she lives with one child. Currently the caregiver is paying for the basic needs such as rent, electric bills and food. The caregiver is in need of two dressers for her daughter and her. The caregiver and her daughter have no dresser. The caregiver and the child were in the foster care system at some point. The caregiver was a teen parent. Father is not present. Does not want to be present. The family is new to our mentorship program and we would like to help with strengthening the family. We are asking for two dressers in order to enhance the child’s academic and social development. Organized space for belongings will foster the child’s emotional well-being, academic focus, and social confidence. Strengthened Family Dynamics.
