I have a 4-year-old that is in need of new shoes. He has outgrown his old ones. The shoe size that is needed is a 12. Donations are welcomed.

This is a brand-new foster parent that will be taking placement of a four month old baby boy. The foster parent will not be receiving any financial assistance for a couple of months and will need help with initial necessities. The child wears a size 6-9 month clothing and size 2 diapers.

Our child welfare team has a male teen (15) that has been in custody since 2017. There wasn't a lot of hope for this teen as far as reunifying with bio mom at time of removal and years after, but we are happy to say his world has turned around. Bio mom has been in his life for over half a year now, turned her life around and has uplifted the whole spirit of the case and the mindset of this young teen. Our male teen has never been placed within our Pottawatomie County area, and now with the help of one of our foster mom's, she has agreed to take placement, so he is able to be closer to his mom, have more visits, and a faster road to reunification. Our male has been from shelter to shelter and has lost items and had items stolen, foster mom is wanting to get him enrolled in school, so he is able to start participating in sports as he has always wanted. Child welfare is asking for help in clothing this fella, as he has very little, and his permanency worker has reached out to most clothes closets in the area with little luck. It would be a big help to aid this foster mom as she has five other children in the home. Child welfare would like to help foster mom instead of her paying out of pocket as we all know clothing for teens can be awfully expensive. Any help with this would be so great and very much appreciated. The mother has reached out due needing help with her water bill in which she in unable to pay at this time. The mother just had a baby in August and has a very strong support system which she is trying to make ends meet for the children at this time. The mother currently cleans houses to help pay for bills but is still struggling. Mother is also needing a new stove in which she bought a stove off of marketplace and there were roaches in it. The mother is currently trying to get rid of the roaches as she has never had a problem with them until now.

Both parents need assistance to pay for a parent competency test. Bio dad is employed at Sonic and bio mom is not employed, but receives social security benefits. The parent competency test is necessary to assess the parents ability to care for their child and safely be returned home.

My client is a single mother of two young children. She is employed but with the flu season she has missed some work due to her and her children being sick. The family is in their second month of reunification and my client needs help making her rent this month. Any assistance that can be provided would help my client and her children out so much. I am looking to help a family in need of relocation assistance. This family struggles financially as it as the mother is a full time student and employee and the spouse is unable to work due his disabilities. One of the many reasons that the family like to relocate is because she is being severely threatened by her children's father's brother after him being taken in to custody for abuse of the children. The costs listed below may not be 100% correct as far as deposits and first months rent as it may vary. Any amount to go towards rent and a deposit would help this family tremendously.

I have a single mother who is in our FCS program while raising her three children without the support of her children's bio father. She's currently residing with the bio father's mother, she's unemployed and in need of essential clothing and supplies for her children.

Specifically, she requires diapers in sizes 5 (boys) and 1 (girls). Girl's shoes in size 8, boy's shoes in size 7. Size T2 in boys and girls clothing and 3 to 6 months for her youngest baby. Sock size for the baby is size 2.

A grandmother provides care for her adult daughter with a mental disability and is in the process of getting a court appointment guardianship of her 11 month old granddaughter. The family has tight finances and is unable to meet some of their current needs. The family is currently using an out of date infant carrier for the child. They are needing an in date convertible car seat. The family is also reliant on two electric heaters to heat the entire home and it is not doing so effectively. The family is in need of 1-2 electric heaters to heat the other rooms in the home. The floors in the home are also breaking down and sagging in areas. The linoleum has been torn up in places and has left jagged edges which are unsafe for the infant which has just started crawling. The landlord has been allowing the family to do repairs to the home in lieu of paying rent, but the family has been unable to get the money to fix the floors as needed. The main areas of need are the living room and adjoining room. The landlord has also requested the family start paying rent again despite the repairs not being completed. Any help we can get for the family will be greatly appreciated!

This family's case is nearing closure and we are seeking help with leaving mom and children with anything they are lacking before that happens. Mom has requested help with size 3T boys clothing (3 t-shirts, 2 pants, a hoodie and socks), 2 pairs of Large sweatpants for her 13 year old son (something similar to the Climate Concepts Fleece Cargo Pocket Sweats), and 2 boxes of size 5 diapers for her two small sons.

Good evening. I have a family in need that as their car recently stopped working. After several people looking at the vehicle, it was clear that the family needs coolant (4 gallons @ $12 each), a new pvc pipe (1 @ $25 each), and a new radiator (1 @ $250 each on the cheaper side). Their vehicle was pertinent in transporting their children to and from school, getting groceries, and transporting themselves to and from work. Anything to help this family get their vehicle back up and running is appreciated, as they have spent their savings in order to fix it. I also added that the mother of the home needs steel-toe boots for her job (1 @ $25 each) and a shampooer (1 @ $50 each) for their home, for the areas that have carpet. Three children reside in a kinship foster home. They are in need of a bunk bed and mattresses to make more space in their room since they all three share a room. They are also in need of a single twin bed as well to go in that room. On Amazon the bunk bed is priced at $160. The twin bed is $100.
