First Baptist Church Fernandina Beach

Family is homeless. They are living in a non-AC, non heated area of a pseudo family member's home. DFCS is working with the family in attempts to locate a more permanent and stable living environment. In the meantime, the family does need fans to keep cool and a small heater to help with warmth (they do currently have one fan and one heater, but need more).

The Gift card we sent via Amazon for food was stolen from the doorstep. We are resending it. This is serving a single mom of two. They are in need of grocery money, high need and critical. Partner church is helping us serve this family by taking the gift card to them and visiting with the mom, who has asked for a visit. She is going through a really hard time.

From the mom: I am in need of assistance with getting a laptop or all in one desktop computer for our home to use for homeschooling. My daughter Kirra is struggling really bad at her middle school and has fallen so behind she is failing all her classes. I feel homeschooling woukd give her the best advantage in her education as we can go back and get her caught up unlike public school can offer. I have decided also that once my other child in 3rd grade is ready for middle school she will be homeschool and not made to go to the same middle school.

Helping cloth kids in a family we have served before in the past. 10+ kids in these sisters’ homes.

These kids are in need of warm winter coats. We have been serving this family for almost a year. It’s comprise of older foster kids. Donations were made for this need. They are so excited!

Moving Furniture From Jacksonville to Nassau for a family in need.

The cost of the stove was more than allocated by 200+ dollars. Moving more money from the fund to the card, to cover recent items we committed to.

Need to move over $105.95 to purchase Visa card for mother, for food. Card originally sent to wrong address, cannot wait on refund to help this mom and children.
